2024 Presidential Race

The last part?...I mean, he is a big government guy who spends like an azzhole. That makes him a threat, IMO. But even to moderates and liberals who don't care about big government...he is an absolute wild card who becomes more and more unhinged with age. Nobody who is being honest with themselves can say he's absolutely not a threat.

Your TDS is catching up with your EDS.

Please. You actually participate in spreading the coup myth? How disappointing. I thought you were better than that.
If so, Trump would surely be the dumbest coup leader of all time. I mean the day before his alleged coup attempt, he offered the government he supposedly had iahest to overthrow an additional 10,000 troops to defend the place he wished to seize.
I mean, most people would try to, I dunno…..maybe REMOVE troops from the Capitol 🤷‍♂️

MAGA all of a sudden wanting to blame individual actions on political rhetoric is an interesting choice.
on par with Ds saying Trump's rhetoric is responsible for political violence but seeing nothing wrong with repeatedly saying he's an existential threat to democracy, the country and/or the universe.

principles are relatively nonexistent across the board

I'd suggest that Trump would have to do it on his own but other candidates could have the help of the intel agency - we've already seen their role in Russiagate and the Hunter laptop.

Trump is a low-grade threat at best because of how much DC resistance he faces. Harris is a higher threat in general (not coup) because the DC machine might facilitate her (or whoever's calling the shots) plans.
Yup. Too many people don't understand the three letter agencies.

Honestly, I don’t know enough about Oliver. What do you like about him? In general, I’m a fan of less government but sometimes the Lib candidates aren’t quite as small government as they portray.

He's a real-life libertarian , which is pretty gay.

The best part is the culture war is not a priority for him, which is pretty much the only deal-breaker for me with other libertarians.

What's interesting about it?

I would say most of the people voting for Trump have been pushed there by the nutjobs like yourself. I mean you were literally out here screaming to people that they were idiots for not wearing a mask. Its that kind of insanity people are attempting to get out of.
You probably don't blame Donald Trump's election lies for the breach of the Capitol on January 6, 2021 ..... Right?

Trump convinced his rally members that it was still possible for him to retain the presidency that day. It wasn't.

For the most part, a defense of Trump's rhetoric will involve the assertion that the people who committed acts of violence and vandalism were solely responsible for their actions.

So you agree the rhetoric from the left helped drive the attempts on Trump's life?

Is the dramatic increase in such rhetoric from the left a good idea wrt violence?

Those aren’t actually on par, but I’m confident Kamala has used lots of other anti-Trump rhetoric that could he blamed for the assassination attempt(s) as much as “stop the steal” can be blamed for January 6.

So, she should continue to call him Hitler. ✅

I'm seeing that "which button to push" meme
The left is going full goebbels with their go kill nazis time machine. There's bound to be repercussions from such violent rhetoric being screamed from the party leaders. I'm just waiting on the left to denounce such historically inaccurate and dangerous words

pin worthy

"Here is a prediction," said pro-Harris political commentator Matthew Dowd, speaking on the X social media site. "Watch every one of poll aggregators/election predictors shift their models this week to favor Harris ... They have been wrong for a month."

Perhaps Dowd is correct - but I'm guessing he's wrong at least on the the models shifting.

I'd agree with you but not for the same reasons I'm sure. One would have absolutely sent this country into a dark place and the other resulted in an upper decker in Pelosi's office. One was infinitely closer to reality than the other ( and had more guns involved)
