My phone or VN has started retaining posts if I don’t submit them. I probably started responding to Hill, then did the other one, had to delete the old post and I screwed up and somehow merged them.

Unfortunately I got sidetracked and a nuanced agreement about the effect of social media got lost.

Tl;dr: like fire, political violence needs more than just rhetoric but social media dividing people up into echo chambers and disseminating messages makes sure the fuel is extra combustible and that the rhetoric reaches it.

Well you would be wrong. I knew this would be the angle that trump supporters would take because there is really no other angle to take. That is why I said from the very beginning in 2016, when the beginning's of the trump catastrophe brought me to the PF, that the worst thing possible would be to normalize trump.
trump is not normal, trumpism has never been normal, ..... that's a critical point.
