I mean by all that’s rational and reasonable this shouldn’t be a tight race. Trump has a solid base that’s never going to vote anyone except him; he has better numbers polling in black men, Latinos, Jews, etc than in 2020. None of that matters this election comes down to a handful of counties that manufacture how ever many votes the democrats need to win. Happened in 2020, it’s going to happen again next week; they will shut down counting and figure out what they need to win and get that many votes.A few points,
-He is up vs 2020 with Blacks (especially men) and Hispanics. Black and Hispanic enthusiasm for Harris is down vs 2020. That is roughly 22% of the vote.
-He is up in general with all groups vs 2020, an election that he barely "lost".
-The right and right leaning indies seem to be much more enthusiastic to vote vs their counterparts.
-The lack of enthusiasm for Harris in general, is very reminiscent of Hillary in 2016 but may be even worse.
You're not going to be welcomed at a Kamala rally with that attitude, Mister.Money will be tight. The world will be less safe. People will be encouraged to identify as dogs. Europe and China will still have major influence in US domestic policy. More Americans will continue to struggle.
Personally, I will continue to acknowledge Christ is King.
thanks Joe, you magnificent bastard.
Glad I looked at the next post because I was about to go dig up this photo.I read your book!

The thinner the margin in the race the more relevant this stuff becomes. While I'm certain it couldn't possibly have "helped" at this point in the game are there really that many people that were on the fence enough for the "garbage" thing to make a real difference? The R's have certainly had some fun with it (and watching the D's play carp on the shoreline is amusing) but I'm just unsure of how much it actually matters with the voting numbers.
Okay. But that's not what I asked.Money will be tight. The world will be less safe. People will be encouraged to identify as dogs. Europe and China will still have major influence in US domestic policy. More Americans will continue to struggle.

What you say isn't wrong but I'm just sitting here thinking with a week to go how many people fall into the "Well that does it...I wasn't going to vote for Trump but I am now." pool. It's difficult to believe there's many in play. The thinner the margin in the race the more relevant this stuff becomes.
I don't think it's people on the fence between candidates. I think it's people on the fence with voting at all.
