2024 Presidential Race

Kamala is just an awful candidate.3 critical mistakes come to mind:

1) She did nothing to separate herself from Biden. In fact, on multiple occasions she reiterated she wouldn’t be any different. That’s just mind boggling to me.

2) she made an awful VP pick

3) she never convinced anyone she had a plan for the border
She was the talking head for Obama and/or others overseeing the left. While she has her own views, it’s obvious Harris regurgitated the same script given to her prior to a Q & A.

I can’t recall Harris giving the American people a concise answer to a question, as she would pivot and say it is “time to move forward.”

The great news is we are moving forward with Trump. Like him or not, he has a plan to get our country back on track.

Do you stand behind this take? Or do you now see him like I do, as one of the worst VP candidates in modern history?
I think I already had this discussion today. I decided I wasn’t voting for Harris after she started giving interviews and her interviews lacked any sort of believable reversal on her 2019 platform, which was basically blue maga.

What was that, late September?

I didn’t watch the VP debate or pay much attention to Walz. He didn’t do anything that I saw that would put him in that category, even if I had a mental list of meaningful VP candidates, which in itself seems like an oxymoron.

He served in WWII. Trump is a tough SOB to roll off of that so easily. His skin though, is several layers thinner than Carter's. In a time when there was no social media, Carter was getting raked over the coals. He never responded with petulant, personal insults towards those criticizing him. That's what sets him miles apart from the Donald.
No question that he is one of the most authentically genuine, decent, caring men to have ever served in the office of the President.

An honorable man, indeed.

Still funny people think who the president is matters. Big corporations will still run this country, always have, always will.
It’s a great day! Trump won in a landslide and the Republicans flipped the Senate. It’s time to rid the woke society we have become & take care of Americans, all Americans.

I just posted this in the Trump thread.

It will be interesting to see what happens over the next few years. The republicans control the presidency, senate and could take control the house as well. There won’t be any excuses for not accomplishing everything they want to. I’m honestly curious just to see what they can do. If they can actually get stuff done, they might win me back. I was a conservative and voted against Obama both times.

Those "circumstances created by Biden" could have easily been overcome if the media had simply done their job and reported the obvious. Biden would not have had a choice but to step back earlier, which would have allowed the Dems to have a full primary in selecting a candidate.

The opinion media could have and probably should have raised hell about him running at his age, but there still has to be substance there for that writing to take hold with the audience and what we actually saw of Joe Biden in 2024 prior to the debate wasn’t as sensationally bad as that debate. To the point that some people here choose to believe he was on performance enhancing drugs when he gave those speeches.

This was such a beat down that I'm starting wonder if it wasn't rigged by both sides to insure Trump won.

Enki, I must have thought about this post a half dozen times today. and i laughed each time.

Thank you.

I’ve watched the attendee aftermath of Kamala’s concession three times. Her speech was whatever, she was not NEARLY as shocked as HRC in ‘16 which is telling, but the defeat in the eyes of that crowd is the best drug ever.
Entitled Hillary was Michigan losing to App St surprised. Kamala was knew her fate when she accepted. Her speech also summed up the last 100 days and White Doug crying was a low-t moment.

Think about this

If Trump won in 2020, he would’ve had a Democrat House and Senate

More impeachments, no Senate confirmations, no bills passed, and possibly the end of the MAGA movement as an effective political force

But now?He has the House, Senate, Supreme Court, a popular vote mandate, and an entire country that wants to clean up our elections, close our borders, deport illegals, and hold corrupt politicians accountable

Sometimes I think it had to happen this way

Honest question, was it though? I mean yes Trump obviously won bigly but from what I’ve seen, Trump basically performed around 2020 numbers but the DNC/Kamala lost about 15 million votes. I think most of the democratic voters just stayed home this time. Granted I haven’t looked at the numbers so Trumps lead very well could’ve widened

Brutal honesty from Bernie. Many conservatives here tried to say the same thing, but the libs were blinded by the MSM message to hate Trump.

Bernie can STFU. Him and the other ultra liberal Ds that have pushed to the extreme fringes is why they lost.....

Him and those just like him are why they lost

Anyone who thought that guy would go over well with men, has likely never met a man. I’ve never seen a more dislikable candidate. I can’t find a single logical reason for picking him
Hmmmm, if only there were something obvious about the other choice from Pennsylvania one could point out. Something that might upset the campus protesting theater kids whose votes she wanted to keep.🤔
Walz was the non-flavored jello selection.🤣
