Yeah. I’m skeptical of the number. I’m not skeptical of a dramatic increase. If you consume MSNBC daily, you woke up on Wednesday and literal Hitler won the highest office in the land. Concentration camps. Torture. Etc. all if that is guaranteed to be just months away. Pretty scary stuff.

What I’ve said, repeatedly, is that it is not the traditional identity politics that the Democrats engage in - which was firmly rebuked in the election we just witnessed.

Trump's attacks on Judge Gonzalo Curiel were an example of identity politics. His attacks on Rep. John Lewis's district were as well. He has never shied away from identity politics.

I'd argue there's a difference between attacking a particular person vs making generalizations about entire groups of people because of some identity.
