I've seen reports donors are leaving Haley. She is not going to win, so why squander the millions of dollars? Since she does not like Trump, why not give it (at least some it) to Reps running for Congress who do not have a lot of funds available?

Many donors admit her chances of winning the nomination are slim to none — and some insiders say that for billionaires with cash to spare, supporting Haley may be more about impressing friends with a cocktail party than betting she can pull off an upset.

This is true. If Trump werent facing the worst president in my lifetime, he would lose because of the Never Trumpers. The "Milquetoast Conservative " is a very real feckless component of the right. They are the cause of the downfall of the right...fence sitters. For the exact reason you stated often times. They think by being half-hearted they will be accepted by the left. In fact they are mocked. They were directly responsible for Obama getting a 2nd term after a disastrous first 4 years of economic woe and problems domestically and abroad.

He won’t do it, but Trump needs someone who can win moderates and Independents. He won’t do that though because he’s going MAGA all the way…

To be transparent, I voted for Obama but it was a sympathy vote. That is when I knew I probably had cast one of my last votes for a democrat POTUS. Obama was very divisive. It was during his years that we got Antifa and the victim society was born or flourished.
