Why does Kentucky currently have the tiebreaker over Florida?
1-1 head to head, both are 0-1 vs #1 seed VOLS, kensucky is 1-0 vs #2 gumps and florduh is 0-1 after their choke job last week.... and I said I did not want to get in the weeds lol

I agree 100%. We gain nothing by winning this tournament. Sit all key players and take the L. You get the rest and hopefully stay healthy. The seed is already determined by the committee before the championship game is played. As you all know this team will be judged how it performs in the big tournament. We have said we need to get past that sweet 16 hump and this is our best chance. But how we finish down this 4 game stretch will determine how we look at the SEC tournament. I’m hoping for a 3-1 finish and take the L in the first game and get ready to roll in the tournament. Kinda like players opting out for a meaningless bowl game.
Tell this to the players. If you don’t believe they want to compete to win the SEC Tournament, you’re out of your mind.

Eff it. Win the whole damn thing. Nothing seems to go our way in March anyway so just keep winning and everything will sort itself out

Looks like the nightmare scenario of 0-2 this week would end up with us on the easier side of the bracket in the SECT, but screw that I want the outright title and 1-seed. Let’s go 2-0.
The BasketVols are the nightmare scenario for the rest of the sec.
