Just 8 shots a game which for 27 minutes seems a bit underused. Didn't shoot the free throws well needs to improve there. 29 percent from the three lowered her overall to 46 percent. Playing with Fair and the Australian girl really limited the amount of production overall. Looks like an easy double double in a high powered high possession offense. The defense she brings at the four is a huge welcome a position we were weak in on defense.

As for Nye, I think we will hear from her after the end of next week. Finals for Alabama are the 26th and 27th of April and session ends April 28th. She has loose ends to tie up in Tuscaloosa and then hopefully will come to Rocky Top so she can take her pics, make her vid and post her commitment.

I think Nye has already committed just going silent until she gets out of UBam. I wouldn't want to announce my commitment to Tennessee and have to go to school or be out and around there for any length of time. I think there is a strong possibility that we have her and McQueen. Nye has a no contact and McQueen has not take any visits. Hoping Spearman is at the softball game today and guess we will have to get our early commitment info through Skim Milkey and you know there is one that has not been announced.

Yes the four of Spearman, Latham, Nye, and McQueen is a very good class and you can still take two more if you want and I think we do. Two players with at least two years to play and two seniors.

Playing with Fair limited EVERYONES production . She was in the right spot at Buffalo.

Needed too many shots to get her points at her size in the ACC. If she was a 6 assist per game player it’s a different story but she was definitely a shoot first, shoot second, pass third guard.

Hard for other players to get much going when you have one person taking 20 shots a game at 38%/35% 3pt.

For comparison Clark took 18 per game her first three years and 22 her senior season when they needed her to take more. But she was career 46% from the field and around 38% from 3. Plus 8 assists per game. Not a fair comparison but people on X keep trying to throw their names around together so…

In a system that shares the ball better Latham is going to thrive.

Yep I agree 100% I think Skim Milkey was posting about Nye the first gif he shared. I agree that she likely wants to get out of Bama all the way and will then make it official for the public.

Not McQueen. Would way rather have Day-Wilson as a one yr player. If not, I'd rather a younger pg, esp if we get Nye as a one yr. Getting Nye is a biggie IMO now. Love the pieces we're getting but we need more reliable 3 pt shooting to go with them. Like Nye.

This is my concern as well. We still have 6’5 Jill, but she doesn’t always play like she’s 6’5. Moreover, the fact she prefers to play the 4 has been discussed ad nauseum. Would love a tall (6’5-6’7) young post tho I know they are rare.

McQueen is a 31% 3 pt shooter with a so so a/t.o. ratio. She's also a multi-transfer. Doesn't seem that much of an upgrade over Wells to me. Also just one year of elig left. However, she may be a pkg deal to get Nye. In that case, she's worth it.
