The way Coach Caldwell, Coach Lazo, and Coach Tubner are blitzing the recruiting trail I figured a few leaks would start to hit social media.

Kapinus has two years of eligibility remaining as an RS JR entering this season.

Whitehorn has two years of eligibility remaining as an JR entering this season.

GBO🍊.

Agree don't know if it is a good fit for her but she is a Husky.

I think UCONN made her wait but they wiffed on Beers and Iriafen wasn’t interested. If they needed anything it was going to be a proven center. It’s always dicy relying on a young player coming off injury to hold down the inside. El Alfry is a talent for sure but Brady and company will have to really help her out in there.

Only downside I see is she was a high TO player as well, high risk high reward on both ends lol
She still brings a neutral as a player as 2.1 steals and 1.2 offensive rebounds vs 2.9 turnovers per game for a plus .4 so she offered no advantage or negative for the 28 minutes per game she played. She was a net neutral.

Yes. She is very aggressive in her game. Looks like she can also pick up some fouls too. I’m all for aggressive instead of passive players though. Maybe if she is only going at a few minute bursts at a time in the system, she will decrease those numbers some.

UConn is also at the max scholarships of 15. When has he ever played more than nine any reasonable minutes. Going to be some sitters on that team, but the way it is looking that could definitely be our team as well.

Same! I actually didn’t think we fouled ENOUGH in some games last season. Especially when we were behind, gotta use those to your advantage and slow the game down a little.

And it’s much easier to have to reel a player in than to have to drag it out of them. Like Mulkey kept saying about Janae Kent this season, she just wanted her to do “something, anything.” Get a rebound, a steal, make a good pass, hit an open shot, something. You can just come in the game and fill a spot, got to be aggressive and contribute.

I think we’re bringing in a lot of players with incredible athletic ability and with this coaching staff hopefully they can refine, tweak, and improve a lot of these things to take their game to the next level.

The 64% Ft shooting is concerning for me, you can’t have a pg that can’t make Ft’s especially in crucial situations, we’ve been through that before.
Yeah, that would be the same with Latham, Spearman, and Whitehorn too. They all shot in the 60s from the line. Have to get that upped for all of them.

Maryland also I think most of who is going where should play out by the end of May.

I maintain she’s a risky one. Her numbers improved a ton last season but she’s undersized with no outside shot. You’ve got to have at least a little outside game at only 6’ or it’s tough anymore.

Could definitely improve there but her 1.29 scoring efficiency is elite so if she can keep doing that I can sacrifice 1.5 free throws out of ten. 64 percent is at least fair and she wouldn't have to make but 8 to 10 more out of 100 to be considered very good free throw shooter. I worry more about Spearman when it comes to free throw shooting she had one season in the 40's.

Can't see us going that way if we get these two. I would think more of a fifth player would be a true post player.
