2024 TRANSFER TRACKER

Soild backup pg for Miami doesn’t turn the ball over. Very high motor up tempo. Not a great shooter from the perimeter mostly a driver but does steal the ball a lot on D. Really good production per minute
We don’t need another small Pg, we already have Wells. Now I wouldn’t mind if the small guard was elite like Hidalgo.

Now THAT's what I'm talking about!. An actual 6'2" forward who was 14th out of hs and can score? Please, please, please.

At least it's not another in the army of 5'6" guards.

She sounds like great potential and already a contributor (and has three years left). But the link I saw had her listed as #73 out of h.s. (ESPN ranking).

Probably tells me something about Destinee.
I don't know enough about Destinee to make any judgement on her. Was excited about her coming in, a little disappointed with her actual play, and totally in the dark how her comeback will be. I have hope for her.

I wouldn't mind another pg, but only if they're young and a very good 3 pt shooter.

Does it make sense for a system that lives and dies by the 3 to recruit guards who can't hit them? I know she'll need quickies for D, but I would think we'd be looking for sharp shooters.

I meant the injury too. CKC probably not sold on her yet ofc bc she can’t do anything. She doesn’t scream high energy either

Yes, positionless basketball by default. Roster full of undersized guards who can't shoot. Yippie.

We need a post! Someday we may play a team who still plays position basketball and has an actual center.
I think we also have 6’4” Spearman from Miami visiting? The Miami players visiting make sense with Lazo being very connected to Florida.

We need scoring and quickness, the 3 players we have visiting can’t shoot, and I thought we was suppose to be a 3pt shooting team?
Ugh 😑 explaining to u is tiresome… we clearly need rebounders and athletes too

Refer to this:
1. Athlete
2. Shooter/Rebounder
3. Ball Handler/Stealer/Assister/Blocker
(A player needs 2 of these 3)

It’s a system where she expects misses. We need offensive athlete rebounder for putbacks.

A small guard is not automatically a detriment if she can run point.

I mean heck, the UT *men* have a 5’7” point guard and he was first team All SEC and SEC DPOY lol.
The 1 year is a turnoff. But it’s a spread system so not turning it over and passing well is a huge plus

Yes speed and passing is great. But next year, someone is going to have to score. Alot. We're losing over 25 pt ppg btw RJ and JP. Don't see Coop and Boyd making that up.

Send suggestions to add to list!
Mostly P5s or player of interest for us.
Also any player who transferred to an SEC school

Everyone check out the updated rankings and the TN visitors! Also added updates to the SEC Portal Tracker

Tennessee will add some forwards and post players. Either way, nothing about this roster will be undersized.

Talaysia Cooper is 6’0. Kaiya Boyd is 5’9. Jewel Spear is 5’10. Kaiya Wynn is 5’11.

I’m not understanding the undersized guards label at all.

I have watched some film of the players visiting and they fit the new system. GBO🍊.

Well her system doesn’t rely on putbacks but they do offensive rebound. It’s not Pat Ball at all… this is so tiresome.

Mainly they attack the glass to get into their press lol

My point was, no matter how fancy or complicated they try to make it, it always comes back to this. Shooting, rebounding missed shots, and getting them back in the basket.

We need shooters and scorers. And a post.
