Brenda just can’t keep players anymore. She’s recruited several mid-major players out of the portal.

Ever since that class with Reese dispersed she has had a really hard time keeping quality players around.

Shak Austin and Angel Reese leaving were the beginning of the end for Maryland

I agree with you on Brenda having problems keeping players. I'm just saying if she wanted to get more playing time Duke might not be the place. They are loaded with young players.

Yeah I agree, she’ll have to earn her minutes there for sure.

Duke is going to be a crazy young team next season. If they don’t find ways to improve their offense this off season I think they are in for a long season next year.

They have some talented players but not much size. Brown is slow and not very physical.

Their ball pressure defense is excellent and kept them in a lot of games. But that’s not going to be enough to sustain the program. If they don’t figure out how to start scoring some points it’s going to impact their recruiting.

Only had one player average double figures and that was Richardson was 12ppg.

If this is her problem why did so many on here want her for the LV's HC position and were mad when DW didn't pursue her. Don't understand that.

Duke is an ascending program imo. I think it’s pretty obvious tbh, esp with how they recruit. Maybe I see more in KL than some others, but from my perch it just looks like a program rising.

I disagree, I think they are on the precipice right now. The next two season will make or break Lawson’s career.

If she doesn’t improve their offense I don’t see how they can advance much further than where they are at the moment.

Hey I was one of them. Brenda can coach some ball thought maybe a change of scenery would help her recruiting.

I think Brenda is an excellent coach, her morals around recruiting have always been questionable though and it’s no secret she’s had trouble retaining/landing talent the last 4-5 seasons or so.
