2024 U.S. Senate Races

Thanks for not addressing anything I said I guess? You're odd.

You said that it was "suspicious" that votes were still being counted in Arizona past election day .... That is ignorant of the process in Arizona. It would seem that your default response to something you don't understand is suspicion rather than taking the time to get the facts for yourself.

It's very suspicious. Take off your blue goggles. Vote tabulation should be concluded on election night, early the next morning at the latest. This is worse than third world fraud.

For Kari Lake to win at this point, she would need to get about 168,500 of the remaining 270,000 uncounted votes. There is no way that is going to happen. If anything, it looks like Gallego's lead will continue to steadily increase.
It was over for Kari Lake before the first vote was cast. She’s awful.

That is absolutely ridiculous. Click on the link and read the reasons for why it takes Arizona longer. There is no way that you possibly could have. You are profoundly and willfully ignorant.

There's no reason it should take this long. I saw something like 95,000 ballots dumped on Sunday. Unacceptable. This should never happen here.

Click on the link and read it. It lays out the reasons as to why it takes Arizona this long. You have obviously not read the article. It is explained. You would rather be suspicious and speculate falsely than learn something.

Florida has essentially all of their ballots counted immediately after election. Arizona can too. What is happening in Arizona with taking over a week to count is unacceptable. There is no excuse for it.

ugly side of states rights. you are going to have differences. if it bothers the people of Arizona, they can change it.

Change it how? By "Voting" in people who will change election laws? lmao. Those in charge clearly won't allow that.

There are valid reasons for it. I still don't believe that you have read the Newsweek article that I linked. It covers those reasons pretty well. Not every state can be the same.

Once again, that article is pretty good at explaining why Arizona's procedures differ from most other states.

Florida changed theirs.
Georgia changed theirs and lost the baseball all star game because of it.

if there is a will, it will be changed.

It's unacceptable and there are no valid reasons for it.

The only reason to be against voter ID? So you can cheat elections.

The only reason you take over a week to count votes? So you can cheat elections.

Same thing.

That is so ignorant. I still don't believe that you have read the Newsweek article. This is an example of willfull ignorance.

That article isn't a get out of jail free card for Arizona. It explains a screwed up system. Other states and countries can accurately and securely count votes on Election Day. Arizona's system is screwed up royally. If they truly need 2 weeks to count them then require mail in ballots to come in 2 weeks early

It's unacceptable in the USA to have a state take over a week to count votes. We're not talking some overseas military votes outstanding here.

There are high school elections with more integrity.

Arizona has a right to do things the way they want. They just have to follow the law, and they do.

It has nothing to do with integrity. Their procedures are different for valid reasons.

Unfortunately they do have the right to be archaically slow in processing votes. Where did I bring up their rights? A state has a right to be poorly run but it doesn't mean that they should exercise that right

It has everything to do with election integrity.
It has nothing to do with election integrity.

These are the factors :

1) It has to do with their state law. Mail-in ballots post-marked by election day can still be counted if they arrive by 7 pm that day. You don't have to like it, but it's their law.

2) Due to remote conditions and logistics, 75% of Arizona voters choose to vote by mail-in balloting. Their process is time-consuming.

3) Many ballots are dropped off in person on election day. That leads to a large number of ballots that won't be processed until after the polls close.

4) Then there is the process of "curing," which I don't like .... but Arizona's law provides for it.

Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean that there is fraud at hand. Finally, it simply makes no sense that Kari Lake would be defrauded, and Trump wouldn't be .... when they were on the same ballot. Kari Lake just plain sucks as a statewide candidate in Arizona. Republicans had a great election cycle, but it really should have been one Senate seat better than it was.

Mass mail-in voting. Forgot to add that one. The only reason for mass voting my bail and "drop boxes" is for fraud.
