2024 WNBA Discussion Thread

It’s called overseas :/

That’s how the 26 year old “rookie” who had 21 against Indiana got in. A player from Cal then played in China
Much rather play in United States than a damn China or Russia.

I'm not freaking stupid I was just making a suggestion.

All the “new fans” complaining about pre-season games not being televised are cracking me up.

Where yall been? Just wait until the real games start and they discover how hard it is to actually keep up with them and watch when they are on 5 different platforms. Hopefully everything will be on league pass but I doubt it.

These people are so thin skinned though. They just waltzed in and started complaining at the top of their lungs. The rest of us have been supporting the W and WBB for YEARS. Kinda funny seeing their heads explode over how bad the coverage is when it’s probably the best it’s ever been right now.

They are currently complaining on Twitter about the Aces preseason game not being televised.

Just wait until the new fans find out won't be able to watch the local team live in their area for certain games because of the blackout rule.

Yeah they’re gonna lose it. It cracks me up that they think there is some big conspiracy lmao. This is literally how it has been forever. Welcome to the show.

Oh man, hate this for Kamilla. 4-6 weeks is a chunk of the season.

Tonight is the premiere of a documentary focusing on last season for Caitlin, Kamilla, and KiKi Rice. I will move heaven and hell to avoid this film since I'm sure the 1.1 second will have a featured role.

Chicago Sky injury list for their preseason game tomorrow lists Izzy Harrison as questionable with a knee. That's bad news, or maybe they're just being cautious. She's been rehabbing that knee.

If you pass on drafting Rickea, that is what ya get......

Just being on Twitter if all pops up on the timeline, u don’t even have to look for it.
I’ve got an account but have few follows and I follow few and I rarely check in. I do read down through the comments on most Twitter posts here.

Awesome! You can tell she has her team on a string. She yells go and they flat get after it even in their drills.

I imagine, too, that there's more urgency among the players to give maximum effort all the time while they're still in the process of cutting staff. Not that more than a couple of players are going to be cut at this point, but even the stars probably try to respect the fact that there are women out there trying to keep a roster spot so they all need to respect the process right now every minute.

Gawd, it's brutal. Hearts are definitely either filled with gratefulness or broken in two this time of year. 😥

Yep! That’s respect giving max effort.

Really hoping Denver does indeed get one of the expansion teams. I think Denver is a great market for womens sports.

Lindsay Allen must be the nicest woman ever and just great to have on your team. Because otherwise I cannot fathom why she’s still in the league after 7 years.
