They are playing exceptionally well but still are a beatable team against a formidable opponent like South Carolina or Tennessee. I know you didn’t say this but it’s a joke when anyone tries to prove UConn played bad against Tennessee in that loss. They played no worse than when they got beat by USC and Notre Dame. They scored 76 points. They just couldn’t defend an athletic Tennessee team. Samara Spencer played her best games as a LV against MTSU, UConn, and South Florida. Lazaria Spearman played her best games against UConn, Florida State, and South Florida. Alyssa Latham played her best games against Florida State, UConn, and South Florida. I’m not talking about statistics wise before someone makes it about that, the difference in the team when two or three of those players are playing good basketball is huge because they do more than score the basketball or play strong defense. They impact the game without scoring. That along with the play of Cooper, Whitehorn, Spear, Boyd and the veterans is how Tennessee beat a UConn team that scored 76 points and loss. And no Tennessee didn’t play the best game they have all season to win at home.
I believe this tourney is starting to show there are many teams that can win the 2024-2025 National Championship.

The longer the season has gone on for Uconn, the more amazing the LV victory over them has become. That was just a huge win.
