I am not sweating anything. How hard is it to understand I just said first year coaches can get elite recruits? I never said we aren’t. BYU will and THIS is the first year for Pope and he will. It’s possible.

Players are not going to be transferring often or at all from programs that have players that we need to get over the top and be a top 8 program again!

Well, it’s not quite straight because 5-stars have transferred from those teams because they were hardly getting off the bench where they were.

Really? I guess my mileage varies bc I always saw Jewel as bubbly and funny, one of her best traits from the time of her visit. All her coaches and teammates last yr said it. Did you miss all the tik tok dance videos? That started way back in the summer when she and Rickea played for FIBA and clicked immediately.

I've said before, almost every player recruited wants to be the next Andreya Carter. Jewel, with that personality, may actually do it.

Depends on whether or not she has the drive to put in the countless hours of preparation work that Andraya does. Carter is a bit of an analytical savant, IMO, and those are rare. Right now, as far as I can see, she is as good as anyone out there — female or male — and has the chops to hang with anyone.

Some like to play their mins in extended stretches to achieve a rhythm. Just personal preference. I'm sure winning championships would make some who are hesitent reconsider.

Maybe she’s taking this whole basketball thing a little more serious knowing how much work she has put in and this is her shot to contribute to something special.

I think she is for sure, but her environment is very different as well. You can tell there has been an obvious culture shift. They had to pry answers out of players in pressers the last few years. Now they are happily giving more than asked.

Those rankings are going to change a lot between now and signing day.
I don’t see Coach Caldwell looking at players that she’s evaluated and moved on from for any reason to be honest.
There’s good players out there that’ll be in a LV uniform that fit the system.
Having two commits in the high school senior class at the early signing period has not happen since 2020-2021.

Following MBB, first year coaches can and do land elite players year one even kids they didn’t recruit until their arrival.

There is a lot more money being thrown around in the men's game. Pretty confident that is why.

They don’t need players like we need player… we are bare… losing Jewel, Puckett, Spencer, is 3 starters will over 250 starts. Experience and size graduating
