Where did the phrase standing on business come from? Nyla Brooks has it on all her post like the one above which worries me since Coach Sam does the same. I know the two of them have a great relationship and there's a good chance she may end up at Mississippi State. I really hope I'm just being paranoid and she ends up recommiting to be a Lady Vol!

I was fully thinking both her and Finley would be LV's. . .not so sure at this writing

I’m not against any player and I wish them well. If they sign with Tennessee good. If they don’t good.

This is textbook narcissism from a few fans, coaches, and close associates on VN/social media.

The new coach and new staff came on campus in Knoxville and not a single coach has attempted to make it about them over the team.

The new coach and new staff in one month has signed four players with outstanding success on the collegiate level and not a single player has attempted to make it about them over the team.

Odds are as high as they’ve been in five years that Tennessee new coaching staff will successfully recruit and add ranked high school players.

If neither is a particular player that fans, former coaches, and associates on social media are gloating over then perhaps follow the player to their new destination.

Putting one player or a few players over an entire roster is ridiculous.

She was using that line even when she was committed to Tennessee so it is really nothing new.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about Nyla used that line while committed to Lady Vols and still does. Coach Sam still uses it on some of her post still while at Mississippi State. The Lady Vols don't use it anymore so since Nyla and Coach Sam both use it there's cause for concern.

I don’t think that line means anything…. It’s a popular pop culture line right now… Eli Dorkwitz uses it at Missouri as well.

Coach Caldwell, Coach Lazo, and Coach Tubner have signed four players in one month. Chances are high they will sign multiple players over the coming months. A fact that I recently learned about one of Coach Caldwell four commits is Ruby Whitehorn in HS posted a 80-4 record.

Her first year at Clemson she led the Tigers in a win over #7 Virgina Tech.

If there’s a HS player not interested in Tennessee at this point with the momentum, excitement surrounding all Tennessee athletics, genuine effort to connect with players from the new staff, and best WBB tradition of all-time then coming here to single that out is counterproductive to your agenda.

Wherever Chastain lands I hope she has a great career.

I really can't be upset at all that both she and Nyla reopened their recruitment, and would wish both well even if they decide Tennessee is no longer for them. I really hope both decide to give the new staff a chance, though, 'cause being a Lady Vol is really, REALLY special.

Fits with the idea that at least some top recruits will want to see that CKC can win at this level before entrusting their future with her.

Edited to add that Stanford just retained Tara’s top assistant so presumably it’s not going to be a radically new system and approach.

Strange how when high school players still list Tennessee in their Top Colleges lists certain posters ignore those highly ranked players but if one or two players go on a visit, or if a player doesn’t list Tennessee you get the same posters talking about it like it represents the full recruiting picture under Coach Caldwell and her staff.

Just let it go lol. Everyone knows now that some people will never support CKC.

For those entrusting their future to CKC, the LVs just landed arguably their best overall portal class.
