I think the only 2 things we could’ve done better was not settle for so many 3s in the first half without penetrating and we didn’t box out well today. Igor in particular never seemed to body anyone. His guy was seemingly free to clean up misses a lot. All in all few teams will be able to beat us if we bring the effort though.

In all fairness. Louisville’s SEC losses were between Nov 9-Dec 3. Much different team now. They led Duke by 5 at the half last night and went toe to toe with them for 3/4 of the game. They’ll likely be a 6 seed and it wouldn’t surprise me to see them in the Sweet 16.

Agree. I think Igor could be the X factor for our tourney success. He has to stay out of foul trouble and quit the foolish turnovers.

Like except for Kentucky being on the same side of the bracket, given how the other two games against them this year went.

Cats injuries are gonna kill them. I’m most worried about Utah state, tbh. They have the capability to get hot and beat just about anyone in this tournament

They beat us twice this year and neither win. was a fluke. They hit their threes and their bigs are good and mobil. I don.t want to play them at all.

They hit their 3’s at a much higher clip against us than other games. They don’t have much post play except for Williams, who plays a point forward type position.

So the big Kenpom stat everyone kept talking about all year is teams in the top 20 in offense and defense have won a large majority of championships.

We're now 18th in offense and 3rd in defense after the SECT.

Other teams that are top 20 in both.

Duke
Florida
Houston
Auburn
Iowa State
