That’s 12 spots taken. One left open…I think. We don’t necessarily need anyone else in this hypothetical, so if it was ME, I’d leave the last spot open for Gainey. Wait and see if they let the seniors have an extra year.

He knows the expectations, you don’t HAVE to start him, don’t have to over pay him. 6th man of the year, imo.

If we were fortunate enough to end up with that roster, Gainey is the one senior from this past season, if we could only bring one senior back, that I would want most. Wow! That team would be a force to recon with right there! Make it happen CRB! Go Vols!!!

I actually feel good about Rice and Freeman. I am concerned of the Duke competition for Ament. Maybe it will work out. That would be awesome!

Gainey would be the perfect add to finish off the roster. Need more offense, 6th man, shooter. ZZ lost his spot. Can't bring in JG for top $ and give him the keys as CRB said and then bring back ZZ imo

I noticed that when they put Gainey’s name on the jumbotron he was listed a Tennssee basketball player. All former players had the dates they played listed. Reading in between the lines you could infer that as of this moment he they still consider him part of the team not a former player.

If we can manage that, I think that's a top 8 roster in the country. Bigger and deeper than we've been in a while with a young talent like Ament. WOW
