Did he, though? He said that he fully plans to be a part of the team next year as of today. He also said that he believes God will make it clear to him when it’s time for him to retire. I think he was very strategic with his wording. It puts it to bed perhaps as a storyline for the time being, but he didn’t guarantee he was returning imo, especially since he said he hasn’t thought anything about it (retiring). Once the season is over, hopefully with him hoisting a national championship trophy, he will evaluate his future I’m sure.

He’s good enough to play right away as a slasher. But probably want to have him come off the bench for a year to catch up to the speed of the game mentally
