I am not saying he is going to Louisville so don't take this the wrong way.

But I have some connections to the city of Louisville and the team. I've had former teammates play there. I've known and interacted with many former players, some in the NBA.

And I have connections with donors and big businesses in the city.

People underrate Louisville. There is a LOT of money available to that program. I'd never say it is unacceptable if we can't compete from a money perspective.

By going to Belmont, he wasn't highly recruited. We had Dillione and Edwards. As the portal shows, some guys just need a couple of years to develop.

If Gillespie is fine playing off ball, then I’d love ZZ back. Again, I’m just sick tired of him getting his **** packed driving to the rim, but at the same time it’s hard to argue against his production.

I saw that same interview. He said that a number of the top schools will have an $8 to $10 million budget this year. Would hope we are close to that.

I don’t disagree about what’s fair, but I think we’re going to see double that soon. When you think about the dollar value of a program like Texas making a FF, the value of the players that get you there is easily over 10mm across five starters. It’s about to get gross.

That's a good point but do you really think a starting 5 can win a national championship without a supporting cast? The supporting cast has to have a dollar value too. The trick is going to find the supporting cast that understands their role, and value, on a championship team.

I doubt that will ever work with unlimited portal stops while in college.
