2025 Transfer Portal

I'm not too familiar with the Lady Vols Forum on here. Are there any posters to follow who provide inside information rather than just speculation?
DeerPark12 has a good, consistent track record. Unlike certain others—names withheld to protect the guilty—DeerPark12 does not post about how connected he/she is, or otherwise try to make it about him/herself.

Word is Fulwiley a no go for TN AND also LSU.

Judd is said to be choosing between TN and TX

I’m still hearing from reliable sources that LSU is most likely for MF. The rumor about her visit was not true but source is saying she may actually commit there later this week with no visit and then visit later.

She’s a stellar talent but she doesn’t make sense for us imo. I’m not convinced she’d bring anything for us that Mia Pauldo doesn’t.

Is that right? You must be talking to someone in her family or to someone on the LSU staff then. Oh wait, your source is the internet. Carry on.

I could see her waiting until her classes are finished. Want have to put up with the added crap she will probably receive.

i think if it goes into place both barker and wolf and all the seniors would get another year.
Just to be clear, it’s not a ruling, it would be a new rule change. At this point, the rule change is not even been proposed. A proposal that, if made, would not be voted on until next January. There is absolutely no guarantee that the rule change will even be proposed, though many in the industry expect that it will be.

It would not necessarily guarantee an extra year of eligibility to everyone currently in school. The expected proposal is to convert the current five years to play four seasons calendar to five years to play five seasons, eliminating redshirts and medical hardship waivers. Everyone’s career would be capped at five school years, regardless of injury or playing time.

Not that it's an absolute indicator of where a transfer might land, but several Texas players (Rori Harmon, Laila Phelia, Madi Booker, and Kyla Oldacre) all started following Ashton Judd on Instagram over the last few days, and vice versa.

Kaiya, Coop and Coach Ro all started following her as well and vice versa lol

Wonder how much NIL money Tennessee has overall. Hear Kentucky spent 20 million just on their men's basketball roster. It has to be boosters go wild. time. Schools can't afford to dish out that kind of money on 15 players. Of course sounds like the guy we signed got an amazing amount as well.
I think I know who put up most of that money. He's very good friend of Coach Barnes. I don't get to see him very often anymore. He definitely has the money to buy a team.

I think were probably through with the portal depending on what Judd does. I'm sure they will be waiting on her decision which is probably into May. Really think we've covered all the bases. You can only play five at a time. I feel really good about all fourteen so now how them minutes going to be allotted. We could go into a two minute drill with five players in every two minutes if Judd committs here. That comes out to 13.33 minutes per player with five players needing to play one more second. 14 players you can get that up to 14.29 minutes a player. I could see it being more like five getting 22 a game and another five in at 14 a game and the last four about five minutes each.
I think it is safer to say we'll probably end of playing 11 or 12 most of the minutes and two to three very little.

Totally excited though we have extreme depth and not just a player all have tremendous athletic ability and talent. Looking forward to this season more than I have any season in a long time.

Always good to hear from a trusted poster

Tells me Barnes gets what Barnes wants if it comes down to money. I think Coach Kim has quite enough as well. I'm sure that freshman class was not cheap nor will be the next one. The fact that they are getting seniors tells me they think they are in good shape with some freshmen prospects in 2026.
