Kellie was recruiting her pretty hard, I could see her ending up at Mizzou. I think Tennessee should pass on her though, not worth the drama imo.Has anyone here mentioned Quadence Samuel's out of Uconn here. She's a nice player that is going to help a team wherever she goes. 6 foot long and athletic. Due to the return of Azzi Fudd, she moved down the depth chart this past season and didnt get minutes this year, but looked pretty good as a freshman. Only averaged about 12 minutes a game as a frosh, and scored 5 pt's per game and almost 3 rebounds on 40% fg 35% 3pfg. She would be a good fit and more importantly has 3 younger sisters that play basketball with the next one coming in 2027 and ranked 9th in her class. I know we recruited this one pretty hard along with Ashlyn Shade a couple years ago.
i'm watching notre dame vs SMU because citron was guarding her. she does take some contested jumpers. much better when she attacks. she has a decent first step. it's obvious the team's best defender is on her. steph white said she needs to work on shot selection. i think the coaching staff will help her since like others said she won't be the number one optionI'll wait and see about Robertson. Ultimately I think Caldwell and her staff have proven to be pretty good evaluators, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. But Robertson's poor efficiency numbers really concern me.
She has a good game overall and won't be counted on to be the top scorer here most likely. She will certainly have more help around her than she did at SMU.
She certainly shot a lot last year but her numbers were pretty rough, especially the last 11 games (50 of 191, 26%). Would like to see her get up to around 40% next year. The 33% FG shooting is a concern, as is the 4 TO a game. But definitely fits the style of play. Hopefully Caldwell can create some efficiencies in her, solid get.
when we went to the bench we needed greyhounds and fielded Bassett Hounds,,,Nya is a greyhoundI'll wait and see about Robertson.
