I know some of our fans (and many fan bases) always point to money when we unexpectedly miss on a recruit.follow the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Hate Coach K
Usually the way it works. It's ok he will just be there for a year.K ain't winning nothing recruiting all these one and donesYou know something fishy happened when arguably the best recruit in the entire class unceremoniously posts a commitment photo to his timeline with no pomp and circumstance. These guys almost always host special commitment sessions and announce the date and time you can watch it live. The fact that he just drops the commitment posts when not a single recruiting analyst expected it to happen any time soon reeks of bag man.
I don’t think Banchero is good enough to move the needle on a one and done/ freshmen lead team.
Bonchero will be the most talented freshman to step on campus since Bernard King.
You're not. Blake is a different level of athlete compared to Paolo, but wasn't nearly as polished as Paolo at that age either.
I think Blake's modern game is a good comparison, considering he doesn't rely on his freak athletic ability like he once did.
You should probably stop making such definitive predictions lolDamn, unf#ckingbeliev@ble. Totally blindsided and wrong, again. I truly thought, we were getting Banchero, I could see Chandler throwing oops to Paolo. I thought he we be clad in orange and probably SEC player of the year. I'm crushed. Coach K going all out for one more ring before he retires, no matter what it costs
Yeah, anyone who thought Duke wasn't a threat in this race wasn't paying attention. BTO and I both predicted that Duke was probably the co-leader with Tennessee just a couple days ago. Kentucky would have been right there, too, if not for the sudden loss of Payne. Thus was always about exposure for him, which is why I always hedged against our odds because despite holding Chandler as our ace in the hole, we still can't provide the exposure that Duke or UK could have, and I always believed that may be difficult to overcome for us.I knew there was something strange about that Corey Evans comment, "I keep coming back to Duke." Any case, move on to the next target, and at least Banchero isn't at UK.
My apologies if I had you confused with someone else, but wasn't your prediction that we'd land Chandler, Banchero, Smith, Houstan, and Mashack? That was not wildly unrealistic. Chandler just committed to UT, Payne left UK and the recent Duke virtual visit was widely considered a disappointment. It's called logic
He really is, though. He's not Zion, no, but Zion is a once in 10 years type player, so that isn't really a knock on Banchero.
Wasn't me, I know very little about Mashack, Houston and how their recrutment is going. Now, I want Smith and Huntley-Hatfield, but I don't think I said UT would, for sure get them.My apologies if I had you confused with someone else, but wasn't your prediction that we'd land Chandler, Banchero, Smith, Houstan, and Mashack?
Someone predicted that, and that was unrealistic. Even 4 of those 5 was unrealistic. And you, even self-admittedly, are overly positive with your predictions.
I know. I posted they were a bigger threat than most think right beforeYeah, anyone who thought Duke wasn't a threat in this race wasn't paying attention. My bad, Dog.
Yeah I don't understand people who start to immediately discount a recruit's talent if we miss on them. Banchero is really, really, really good. It sucks. We missed on him, but that doesn't make him any less awesome. Let's not be Kentucky fans.
