22 Florida vs. 23 South Carolina

South Carolina was the best team in the East this year, no doubt. But a.) That's not saying anything considering the other five teams currently are and will be unranked at the end of the season. b.) Don't expect this to be the norm, in fact, don't expect this to ever happen again.

Makes sense though. You guys are alway so dominant against them....except for the OT win you had actually just last year

appreciate that since 25 in a row (nations longest streak) is pretty good. Also congrats on breaking Vandy's winning streak over you last season

South Carolina's best team ever has gone 5-3 in conference play when Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia are all the worst they've ever been since divisional pay began, and they think that's impressive?

and Alabama? haha, you're such the jokester

Did I say against UK? Didn't rememeber saying that...

Yeah I guess a 10 year winning streak against them couldn't come to an end any better than a year where it didnt matter and we're going to an SECCG.

25 years in a row is dominating. Like being so awful for so long makes your program...average at best. Even with one of the greatest CFB coaches ever.

also how sad is it that if USCjr wins the SEC it will be the first SEC champ since 05 to not play for the NC

Do average teams play in the SECCG?

just seems weird that the nationally recognized "best conference in college football" would send averaged teams to play in their championship games. seems really strange, almost like...almost like its not true

you did? I mean, I did, thought it was extremely funny, but just really surprised you did.

You're being a really good sport about this :good!:

Think about it man, every other team in the east is below .500 in conference play with the exception of UF, and they are 4-4. You guys can have your 5-3 eastern championship this year. Congrats.

I can kinda sum up the last page or so in a simple image:

I can promise you, had UT won the East you'd hear none of this jabber

yeah I guess 2 in a row is technically a streak.

Thanks!

Finally overcoming losing 2 in a row to powerhouse Vandy is quite the accomplishment. You should thank Richt, Fulmer and Florida's assistants for the mediocrity the rest of the SECE has fallen into. Savor this "accomplishment" cock troll. I suspect next year you won't be as lucky

You really think the SEC is the best conference this year? Absolutely not. And yes, SC proves that average teams do play for the SEC crown at times

You know when you look at the grand-scheme of things that 5 years doesn't seem like a long time when compared to the total amount of years that colleges have played football...over 100+

see what point I made there?
No? me either. There was no point to it, just like your post. And if its my fault and there is a point, please restate it please so I can understand. And I apologize, we're just so busy winning for me to really concentrate right now

:hi:

UT in 2007 was a very average team. And they played in the title game.

Don't be silly. Much of this board laughs at our stumbling backwards into the 07 title game. We had two losses and it was an embarrassment.
