We were #12-#16 in most “way too early” rankings I had seen. I’m not sure this moves the needle for pre-season rankings all that much. Maybe we move up to #10. But, add Phillips AND Hunter, and I think we could jump up to close to Top 5.

Texas visit is this weekend. Texas seems to be a slight favorite, but we are apparently right at their heels and have a shot.

Plus, as good as Tennessee's present roster is, I would imagine that having Phillips would make the Vols significantly more alluring to Hunter.
