Yes, I did find it curious that he chose not to participate in senior day activities, though. I'd have thought maybe he'd want that recognition if he's already made the decision to move on. Not any sort of definitive proof of much, but interesting, nonetheless.

I think you might be onto something there. The reason he did not take part is that he is indeed moving on and wanted his moment at the new school he will be transferring to. Whatever school that is. He is well received amongst his peers and no hard feelings at all towards Barnes or the University which is the way it should be.

The NCAA probably needs to change the 13 scholarships plus several redshirts rule. When $350k can be raised in just one day for ZZ, tuition and other expenses can easily be raised to take players off of scholarships. Bailey could return as a redshirt and his tuition could be paid with the N-I-L fund.

When this happens let me know, there’s other restrictions to non-scholarship players that will keep most from wanting to do this.
