'22 TX CG Cason Wallace

At this point, I would say it looks like we have as good a chance as anyone. If we get the visit, I would say that our chances would jump to 60-40 at least.

(I may not be an insider, but my parents claimed to have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express one time.)

Around 9 months before you were born?

You guys ever gonna make it further than Cal in the tournament? UK just locked up Top 10 Chris Livingston and is about to take your boy Cason.

Last time I checked you need to actually make it to the tournament to go farther than a team that was in the tournament… UK fans must have had amnesia in recent years.

Rick Barnes owns Cal. Good luck!
Barnes has not won a conference tournament since 1994, has won his league just 4 times in 30 years, and has made it past the Sweet 16 just 3 times. Meanwhile, since Barnes has been at Tennessee, Calipari has won almost as many conference tournaments as Barnes has won conference regular seasons in his entire career. He's gone to the Elite 8 twice in those 4 years, just 1 shy of what Barnes has done for his entire career.

Back it up one year, and in the past 5 tournament years UK and Calipari have:

2 Elite 8s, 1 Final Four

3 regular season conference titles and 4 conference tournament titles.

Calipari has done as much in just 5 years from 14/15 to 18/19 than Rick Barnes has done since becoming a head coach in 1987/1988.

But hey, congrats on beating Kentucky in relatively meaningless games. Enjoy puffing your chest out about basically nothing.

I’m still waiting on Cal to win another title without Anthony Davis.
It’s a shame Barnes couldn’t even make a final four with Kevin Durant. But please keep telling me how Cal winning a title with his generational player makes him worse than Barnes (who couldn’t win with his).

It’s a shame how Cal reloads with top 10 and top 25 recruits and under achieves year after year.

What privileged blue blood, NCAA protected programs has Cal been battling with in his conferences? LSU doesn’t count. They only cheat like a blue blood.

What a shame that Barnes didn’t run through the NCAAT field with his one 18 year old generational player on a wing.

We will see if you show up here again after we beat y’all’s asses up and down the court this season

Must be fun puffing yours on a rival message board. Takes one of a kind. I enjoy it every time Rick beats Cal with much less talent.

Why do you all fall for this crap? This clown has one intention, and that is to come here and inflame, and you take it hook, line, and sinker. Ignore him and he'll go away.

I mean, it isn't even a good troll effort. When one of the leading insults is, "When is Barnes going to make it further than Cal in the NCAAT?", while failing to acknowledge that UK missed the entire tournament, last season, that should have been a dead giveaway that we were dealing with someone with a low level of intelligence, effort, or knowledge. Perhaps some combination of the three. If my life were so uninvolved and void of interest that I'd find satisfaction in spending time creating a profile on a rival team's message board with the sole purpose of riling them up, I think I'd give it at least a degree of effort to be factual, and deceptively endearing before cleverly spreading my seeds of dissension.

This was such a poor trolling attempt that it didn't even warrant a single response.

Cal couldn’t win a title with a recruiting class that was regarded as being better than the Fab Five lol

I agree, but if you notice, my responses were basically one-liners. Been on message boards a long time to understand not to spend the time with someone like it.

My view from 30,000 feet is: How far our basketball program has come under Barnes that we are fighting this deep into the recruitment cycle with Kentucky for realistic chances at landing top national recruits.
My view on all these viewpoints is that no one really knows. They’re just opinions.

Expected to commit to Kentucky. That would mean they would have commitments for positions 1-3. Hope it plays into our favor with Wallace.

Yup…even his October date was prior to Wallace but this date will be before his OV to Knoxville this weekend. Again I doubt that it means too much as Cal has taken 5-6 highly ranked guys before, but it’s definitely something that Tennessee can try and pitch.
