With this family, they could just be hoping that story throws them off the trail. If they were concerned he was going to off himself, why wait until Friday to call the cops?

They are, this whole case is really weird. I was actually reading some theories today that this was faked, but I just have one question with that. How can they trick a ME during an autopsy? Considering the body has been found I think that theory can be laid to rest.

Also, ive seen this talked about today. But the STAN text that Gabby's mom got could actually have been from her. People are saying that is actually an acronym for Send The Authorities Now. If true, imagine how her mom must be feeling knowing her daughter tried reaching out, and she didnt understand what was going on.

The location of the body was very close to the road, very close to where their van was parked for 3 or 4 days and there was no where anyone could have fallen and gotten hurt. He killed her - then ran and hitchhiked for 3 or 4 days and then when he realized nothing was happening - he came back - got her debit card, cell phone and the van and scooted back to Florida.

Considering he knows how to camp etc then he doesn’t need money, doesn’t need a job. Just has to persevere. Plenty of people straight live off the land, off the grid in that part of the country

I believe her body was in the back of the van - he wasn't wanting to drive back to Florida with her in the back. He took off after he killed her - running hiking walking --
I think he moved her body out of the van the evening that he got back from hitchhiking. You could see the road from where the body was found - so he only moved it a short distance from the van.

I don’t see how his parents could get in trouble if he told them “ wink wink “ that he was going to the reserve.
the fbi had clothes and bloodhounds - no electronic way to track him -

It’s anyone’s guess - 50/50
He could be anywhere- including deceased - but ….. he didn’t go out of his way to hide her body - so if he was going to kill himself - don’t think he would hike 100 miles to someplace remote to do it.
