He could be anywhere- including deceased - but ….. he didn’t go out of his way to hide her body - so if he was going to kill himself - don’t think he would hike 100 miles to someplace remote to do it.

I would determine where and when in Appalachia he successfully lived for months at a time off of the grid. Given a choice between snakes gators mosquitoes and gators in the Florida swamp and Appalachia backwoods - I am also going to go with the Appalachia backwoods.
I just don't know where that was exactly. To my knowledge - no one is searching for him there either.

Let's see - start at the swamp - take the supplies that your parents and you put in the back of the camper - head up I -75 N - reach Appalachia - live off the grid. 6 months later - figure what plan B will be.

If wondered a little bit this weekend, if they arent actually looking for him in the reserve. I know with the car there everyone thinks they were searching for him, but I wonder if they had reason to believe evidence had been disposed of there and thats what they were actually looking for.

The longer it goes without finding his body, the less likely he killed himself. I think he’s getting help from someone - not his parents but from someone. My guess is he is laying low, trying to grow some hair on his head and has cut his beard. With hair on his head and without the facial hair, he’s just another Joe. He’s hoping the media attention will die down. Then move to Mexico or S. America. He could be on the lam for sometime.

There's only so long you can go without money. It would be interesting to see if his parents drew out any large sums of money. That would be pretty damning.

I hate to say it, but it appears at this point they have outsmarted the police and perhaps even the FBI.

He didn’t kill himself, IMO.

Believe it or not there’s a lot of folks out there that would want to help simply to be a part of something so they’ll be remembered.

I've seen a few reports this morning, mainly stuff from FB. Apparently people have reported seeing Laundrie on Boone NC this weekend. This would lead to him hiding out on the Applachain Trail

Could be. People have a way of thinking other people are masterful with woodcraft because they only have a vague notion of what any of it actually means. "Living off the land" is a huge stretch beyond just thinking that. He could potentially be "camping" for $5 a day and that's a lot more possible to do. I mean, if he wanted to work himself half to death, he wouldn't have been living in a van with an "influencer" in the first place.

i don't think they even need to draw out large sums. They were a couple for a long time. In any relationship, there are other people who like one but not the other person. So, he probably has friends that hated Gabby for whatever reason. Parents talk with them explaining the situation during the time he was home but before police got involved, figure a way to deliver cash from parents to other person and then get to him. Maybe just 100 dollars every few weeks.

Its sad and gotten a tremendous amount of media coverage, but killing your girlfriend/partner in a rage, and then going on the lam isn't that unusual in the US.

Goofy wording (or not?). He says it's incorrect "that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days."

I guess if one were to pick nits, one could say he's not denying they helped him leave or avoid arrest, just not on that particular warrant. So if they helped him avoid a potential arrest warrant, say the week before one was issued, that act has not been denied.

Gotta say, sure feels a lot like I'm trying way too hard here. lol

Hire a lawyer. Talk to kid, turn themself in.

Even if they were in wrong place at wrong time. Law is the law. Gotta be hell, cant imagine. But, he's an adult. It's big boy time now.
