24 Hour College Hoops Marathon

They might sneak into the tournament, and considering they're in the Big East ESPN will probably find a way to whore them out and get them in there. I expect them to finish around 9th or 10th in the BE, though.

BE isn't as brutal this year. Also, they could be one of those teams that absolutely suck during the OOC, but with a good coach get better as the year goes along.

They just don't have a lot going for them right now. Kevin Jones is pretty good and Truck Bryant is as well, but Kilicli is their next-best player and I've never been impressed by him. They're lucky Huggy Bear is their head coach or they'd be looking at a 12th place BE finish.

Did anyone stay up to watch the Hawai'i game? Because the guy that did the commentary for that game was really annoying when saying Hawai'i IMO JMO.

I was exhausted, so I missed it. I wanted to wake up at 3 or so and catch the rest of UNI-St. Mary's and go back to sleep, but I couldn't do it.

Alright, quick guess as who will win the regular season conferences:

ACC- UNC
Big East- Louisville
Big Ten- Ohio State
Big XII- Texas
Pac 12- Arizona
SEC- UK

If it weren't for Sullinger, I would say Michigan has a chance in the big ten.

5-10:30 and I want sleep, but I'm too excited about Belmont-Memphis.

If it weren't for Sullinger is quite a loaded statement, though.

WVU is going to keep doing that until it gets remotely stopped.

I want to record that game. I want to see Patrick Young and Sullinger go at it.

My sentiments, exactly.

I don't know if Florida has a go to shooter/scorer, but they'll be damn good with Donavan and their guards.

ACC - UNC
Big East - UConn
B1G - OSU (I like Michigan to finish second, though. 1-3-1 is glorious)
B12 - Baylor (extremely weak B12 this year)
Pac 12 - Arizona? UCLA? Cal? I guess Arizona
SEC - Kentucky

They have three. Walker and Boyton has switched off as main men, and now Beal might be better than both of them. Donovan knows how to recruit guards, but unless Young/Murphy both do better inside, they won't be a big factor come March IMO.

Also, pick the mid-major you expect to do the most damage in March. I'll take Belmont, followed by Xavier, followed by Detroit. Assuming we can still call Xavier a mid-major, of course.

I was really concerned about Beilien. But I think he's the right guy. Just needed time. I don't follow UM basketball as much as football, but do like to watch them. I remember when Beilien had Pittsnogle at WVU.

They had quite a run in March last year and the guard play is even better this year.

If they play a team where they can go small at all, it won't be close.

Xavier. Tu Holloway is a superstar.

Pittsnoggle and Gansey at WVU absolutely ruined my bracket by beating Wake one year.
