24 Hour College Hoops Marathon

Belmont is just in way over their heads with this pace. If they had slowed it down, the game would play into their hands. All up-tempo all the time isn't the way a team like theirs should want to play.

Because if there's one thing you want to do with 3 minutes left in a 10 point game, it's run down the court as fast as you can.

Memphis was fortunate to find a very cold Belmont.

This, too. Belmont doesn't have games like this very often where they miss nearly every open look, they're usually among the best at capitalizing on those. Disappointing, but bad games happen.

How so?

A postman who gets all his buckets off good post play and putbacks isn't "hustling"?

A 2 guard who fights around 4-5 picks for an open look isn't "hustling"?

I think you're letting coach speak replace your common sense.
This is stupid. Scoring isn't hustle or coaching. Everyone wants to do that. Few want to defend, block out or crash boards.

You just described rebounding and dribbling. If in any of those scenarios they miss those shots, that's not because lack of hustle.

As Jackson causes a clutch TO, the above is gold.

So much gold.

Clutch. Surely you laughed as you wrote something do stupid. Secondly, lazy defenders regularly amble into TOs by avoiding having to stop their man and being free to roam.

Garbage officiating. Also, does Memphis not
understand the meaning of running out the clock?

Obviously taking the air out of the ball won't be this team's M.O. this season. As good as they are in transition and on D, it's better to take the easy 2 then get back on D.

He "ambled" into a TO by drawing an offensive foul against an opposing post man?

Again, got it. You are on fire today.

Good game Belmont, they will be a team to reckon with this season.

This game is over 20 minutes ago if they play intelligently. It's gonna come back to bite them.

Clearly you haven't gotten it. Referencing a lone play is almost as stupid as the transitive idiocy. In fact, it'll do in showing what he can do, but doesn't.
