chattanooga blew a 35-14 4th qtr lead. B.j. Coleman was excellant though. 23-37 340 yds 3 tds. 2 rushing tds. Chattanoogas special teams crushed them. Their kicker missed 3 extra points. A fumbled kickoff return put the momentum squarely in favor of app st. Trailing 42-35 late coleman led a gutsy drive to bring the score to 42-41. The mocs couldnt trust their kicker and the 2 point conversion failed. Great comeback by app state. But i stand by my statements that bj coleman is a very good qb and the mocs will be national title contenders before he is done

If they beat Elon later in the year, they might make some noise this year.

App State (my school) plays like garbage sometimes but when they get rolling there is no stopping them. Deandre Presley, the QB, is so flippin fast... these two teams and Elon, along with Wofford, will have shots this year.

it appears they may be a very very good team this season and coleman has another year left. Football season is under way and you might not be able to show your face much longer as my predictions continue to ring true.

I'm surprised you don't think he'll go pro early, since you always try to convince us he's the second coming of Peyton Manning and that UT made a mistake letting him go.

thats funny. Seems like you got that backwards buddy. Apparently you have to be peyton manning in order to be better than jon crompton

You simply have to be better than Crompton. B.J. wasn't. Hopefully UT will schedule Chatt for the JV game, so B.J. can come in and finally play horribly in Neyland

The Appy State QB had stats as good as Coleman's. I suppose there were two QBs that could have beaten out Crompton.

Clearly. I'm sure if he ever tried to transfer he'd find a good school to take him. Oh, crap.

Even more telling to me is that Cutcliffe was his biggest supporter (according to some on here), yet Cut didn't even ask Coleman to transfer to Duke.

He was transferring to UTC regardless of any big schools wanting him to come there or not.

So not only is he the greatest QB since #16, but he's also obviously brilliant. You don't go to a major school and try to start. Instead, you transfer back home, play for a mediocre FCS school, and show off your skills that way.

CJ Boleman could start for an NFL team

Yeah because that's what I said. He went to utc because its his hometown school and since he already used his redshirt up so would've wasted a year of eligibility by going to a bigger school

more ridiculous arguments. Jon crompton played terrible his whole career with the exception of a few games. B.j. Coleman outplayed him in the spring as well. I dont think any major would have taken jon crompton if he hadnt been wrongly given the job and wanted to transfer. Lastly a mediocre fcs team doesnt lose to appy state by 1 point. They will be in the national semifinals either this yr or next.

If he even hypothetically turned down sitting on the bench for one year at Duke and getting a better education for playing at Chattanooga then he is a certified moron.
