3 Cheers for Biden

Fingers crossed he can make it to 2024. Even though many on here don’t like him, he’s safer than Kamala. Speaking of her, she’s been radio silent lately.

He only has to make it to election 2022 but she is a disaster and everyone knows it. We are in trouble either way. We needed to leave Afghanistan but if we leave in a mess there will be consequences.

The China threat and the Biden responses
  • by Jay Ambrose
  • Jul 7, 2021
For beginners, China is a thief, the equivalent of someone stealing something more than $4,000 from every four-person household in America every year, a total of $500 billion.

What gets swiped is our intellectual property, the discoveries and inventions of our exceptional technologists. China also cheats the United States and lots of the rest of the world, too, by ignoring trade agreements that put fairness above infamy.

The director of the play, the Chinese Communist Party, a heartless, dictatorial, endlessly ambitious regime, does not stop with money. It is also a genocidal freak, wiping out Muslims to make the population of 1.4 billion less diverse.

It is bullying its neighbors with no regard for international law. It has indulged in cyberattacks on the United States and is viciously stripping Hong Kong of freedom, independence and rule of law while sticking heroes in prison to make sure the bravest of the brave are the quietist of the quiet.

The island of Taiwan could be next. Once a cheerleader for President Donald Trump because he so often stood by the bold if tiny, democratic, economically thriving ally wanting to maintain its independence. A nuclear power, mainland China is just 110 miles across the Taiwan Strait.

But wait. Fear of a timid Biden administration has disappeared. President Joe Biden wants a stronger Taiwan trade agreement, a significant signal that he also stands by these Chinese people despite mainland China forever signaling one way or the other that it is militarily ready to have things its way, no one else need apply.

She had some staff members to come out & tell all that she's a horrible person to work with. That's embarrassing.
She doesn't respond to criticism very well & doesn't know how to handle the blowback of her doing a sh!tty job.

Glad to see it but have to think we'll be back
China already talking about giving it a go, if they have some semblance of success and appear ready to proliferate that will be our ticket back into the area.

We should have never gone there in the first place, there were better ways to make Bin Laden pay.

Terrorist training camps startup in October

Know someone that had boots on the ground whom played a key role in the final closing of the bases. According to this person, that was already taking place before they boarded their final planes home.

But if he hangs on until January 2023, Kamala could be the POTUS for nearly 10 years. The Dems might just be nutty enough to elect her in 2024.

I give biden zero credit. That said I am 100% against the concept of military based nation building. Our military should be used to kill our enemy and break their things in a manner that limits the risks to our service people. It should be quick and overpowering. The action should be done so in a way that is awe and fear inspiring. When the enemy is crushed we should leave. The only thing left behind should be the guarantee that if necessary the return action will be more intense and thorough.

Exactly. Sadly, just like Bama in football the last 12-13 years.

For finally ending the longest and war in American History. We’ve had 2 presidents “talking” about ending the war since it was initiated by Bush the Lessor. Obama was a phony poseur, Trump was a tough talking carnival barker who’s bark was worse than his bite so kudos to Joe Biden for ending what should have never been started.
A 19 year occupation should not have followed the invasion, but in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, the Taliban's governance of Afghanistan had to be overthrown.

About 4 years ago marks the time I told my liberal friend that if Trump gets us out of Afghanistan, then his election will have been worth it, but that I wouldn't hold my breath...and here we are.
He agreed to have them pulled out in May of this year, then Biden revoked that move.

Shame on me but I thought there was a chance he wasn’t totally bs ing on ending the conflicts in the Middle East until he bit on the Syria chemical weapons false flag.
That was a bad move along with the Solemani assassination and the Israeli pandering/Jerusalem embassy.
