You never really know how good Oklahoma is. The Big 12 is a shell of a conference now.

Good, now everyone can shut up about how Oklahoma deserves to be ranked #1 and the Landry Jones lovefest can shift to someone else.

OK just got screwed with the wussy helmet-to-helmet rule. Guy led with the shoulder, looked clean to me.

Tech now up 30-7. This is nuts.

Curb stomping to commence...

Wisconsin down... OU going down... I wish we could have made it a trifecta of top 10 teams :(

Thank God. Enough talk about OU. They would just get destroyed again by LSU in a repeat of 2003.

I love it. I don't think Bob Stoops is any better than his brother Mike who just got canned at Arizona. Bob just has so much talent, he dominates in his league. He almost never wins the big one when it comes to a a BCS bowl. Oklahoma couldn't stay on the same field as LSU or Alabama. On another not, Oklahoma just scored. Argh!

And Clemson and Stanford.

Probably, but I can't see Clemson going undefeated. Stanford probably will if they beat Oregon, but as we've seen tonight anything can happen.

This has huge consequences for Boise, though. An Oklahoma loss and the Wisconsin loss now means:

-They move up to #4 at the lowest
-The loser of Alabama/LSU pushes Boise to #3

If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State in early December...

I really don't see Boise St going with any of those teams mentioned finishing with 1 loss. Say what you will about them being undefeated and beating UGA, but that 1 impressive win isn't going to cut it. A 1 loss OU, Mich St, Ok St, Wisconsin, Stanford, Oregon will get in before Boise does.

Bob Stoops is a good coach, and Oklahoma is a good team, but they are not in the same league as Alabama and LSU.

If this happened, there's really no reason whatsoever for the BCS's existence.

Not that there is one currently.

True, but this still shows that they aren't the powerhouse everyone seems to make them out to be, and Jones has been unimpressive (so far).

texas in 2005 had games where they were down big (28-12 against Ok St)

if anything, getting over a hump like this will actually get them more praise as being a powerhouse/ top team
