UF is a bad team. Hopefully we come ready. Lost 3 straight last season in basketball, and robbed of a football win. They are due a beatdown.

Donovan is still easily one of the best coaches in college basketball but his team this year doesn't seem to be clicking very well. I could see them making a huge turn around next season though.

Damn, UF lost tonight? Wow. Now only like one or two games above .500. UF is not making the tournament. Biggest disappointment of 2014-15 in college basketball?

The investigation on CBP was this. That he illegally hosted recruits. He had illegal phone calls. He had visits that were longer than allowed. And then he lied about it. He not only cheated but lied.

Cal had Camby who got money from agents and Rose who was retroactively declared academically ineligible. Cal never proven to have been involved in these.

So go on...tell me how Cal is a proven cheater.

LC, I would be surprised if he knew who Marcus Camby was. People just parrot what they hear.

I'd argue that the lying is what got Bruuuuce fired, not the BBQ.

Bruce lied. THAT was his big crime. All the rest was a misdemeanor. It still would have been worth the 2 or 3 years of probation rather than the upheaval. After all, UT has never been an elite program. Probably never will be, and that's OK.

As far as Calipari in MEM... You're right it was never proven, but "quack"

Whatever happened to Camby? I'm not an NBA guy, and haven't been for years. Did he have success?

So you ignore Bruce's cheating because it was "misdemeanor cheating" that would have only gotten a few years of probation? Yet you're accusing Cal of being worse when you admit he hasn't even been implicated in anything his whole career?

He played a long time, until a couple years ago. Good defender, solid player for a lot of years and then developed into a useful role player as he got older.

I always get super hyped at the start and then stop after 30 or 40 games. End up just watching highlights and occasional games if I feel like it. I get burnt out and then pick up during playoffs.

You have an NBA team. You need to be above reproach. A 2 year probation here wouldn't have people jumping off bridges like they would in KY. Like I said elsewhere, I really don't GAS about college basketball anymore, I just like spooling up UK fans.

You think a 2 year probation wouldn't be a big deal to UT fans? Go post that in the BF and see what they say. Just because you don't care about your basketball program doesn't mean others are the same. Seems the real reason you don't like college basketball is because Bruce left and UT became average. And now you use the one-and-done as an excuse. You're full of BS :eek:lol:

We are under the same rules as everyone else in the country. Other elite schools compete for the same recruits. It's not an automatic given we are the best every year. In fact, we just had a NIT year two years ago. We have guys like WCS who developed into lottery players. Any school can do that. And for all your complaining about only one-and-dones on our team, we have a ton of players who came back from last year.

Naaah I grew up in KY. I know how those people bleed basketball. They would jump off of bridges if they got put on probation. At UT.. not so much. The hard core basketball fans would, but mostly UT is a football school. None of my friends would really GAS. Sorry, but that's the truth. Now if it were a football probation... different story. And if UK football got in trouble, no big deal. Just something to do till basketball season.

You can have the last word.. it's been fun.
