Based on my family of UK grads/fans, they love Calipari. They love getting the best recruiting class every year. They love being able to talk about how good they are going to be during the offseason. They love the reinforcement Calipari is providing to their believe of entitlement. They love having all the first round draft choices. They love having former UK players all over the NBA. They love getting closer and closer to permanent bragging rights over the other traditional powers (see "entitlement" above). They love winning! At everything related to basketball, not just the games. And like Calipari, they love all the attention. Frankly, what's not to like. Rest of us trying to tear them down probably are just doing that because we aren't there.

This is largely true, but Kentucky plays in a sissy basketball conference. Their all-time wins mean nothing to me.

I'm probably in the minority, but as long as we win I don't care what the class is rated. I see the same stuff on VN. Having a highly ranked class is important to a fan base. And of course every program is gonna love sending guys to the pros. But at least at UK, we still have connections with those guys. They still rep UK, and like seeing us win. They definitely are a part of BBN, and the fans still support them.

Not trash talking, but if ky plays like that vs Wisconsin, they'll lose. Fwiw, I think they were emotionally hung over from WV.

They didn't play as well as they normally do, but don't sell ND short. They won the ACC.

Who do yall UK fans think poses the biggest threat and matches up the best with the Cats? Wisconsin, Duke, Michigan State, or Gonzaga? In my opinion Gonzaga matches up the best with yall. Their big's are the real deal IMO. Not nearly as athletic overall, but can ball too.

He knows it isnt easy -- he cant just go out and pick who he wants on his team -- plus the media will eat him for breakfast if he doesnt win -- unless the NCAA comes after him he will stay at UK

What kills me about Kentucky fans (although I can kind of understand it since they've almost always had a cheating program so they're ready to dish it out in someone else's face when they smell the opportunity), is this:

Your program makes no more qualms than it does about Slick and his body art. If that's what is going on, you seriously think there isn't academic **** going on as well?

Which, come to think of it, no one ever stays at your university for longer than 2 years max, so I guess it doesn't really matter.

I know a couple of professors here in Bowling Green for WKU that remind me of Volprof. (If indeed he is a Prof)

They come to buffalo Wild wings to drink, play trivia and grade papers. Turns out their wives hate them or they are divorced. They drink to much, say f*** the papers, then go on loud vodka induced tirades about the state of society and such until everyone at the bar pays their tab and goes home.

Only difference here, is that one of them learned how to use a smart phone.

I'm way too overconfident about Michigan State because Duke and Carolina own them. Watch the title game be Wisconsin vs Michigan State, CBS execs would be so pissed.
