38-1

Problem is the media is to cowardly to say anything/write about it

Regardless of how anyone feels about how seriously what Harrison said should be taken, the double standard from the media is impossible to miss here. ESPN does not want to touch this with a ten foot pole.

So you're saying Vegas made money regardless of whether UK or Wisconsin won last night, yes?

oh hell no. vegas made hundreds of millions with the cats loss last night, wasn't to many taking the badgers. plus all the money they made from uk not going undefeated. that was the big bet that was going to hurt them.

I have to agree with the uk fans on this one. I was so confident duke would make the finals I put a grand on them at 8 to 1 to win it all. duke had a free ride to the final 4. UK had a free ride to the elite 8. ND would have beat Kansas anyway and was one of the hottest teams coming into the tourney. Wisconsin had the toughest road by far. this year reminds me of 2010 when they gift wrapped duke a NC. that was another good year as well.

You mean 2010 when Duke blew out a West Virginia team in the Final 4 that beat UK the prior week?

Except they have the story on the front page of their now horribly designed website

yep and almost choked to butler. nearly had a heart attack. had a free ride to the final 4.

The same Butler team that beat 1 seed Syracuse, 2 seed K State, 5 seed Michigan State in the final 4 and then went to the title game the very next year. All that people like you want to see is the name Butler, not the body of work. They were a good team with a very good coach.

not saying butler wasn't a very good team, but when you have money on a game you like it to not be that close. still don't change the fact that duke had a free ride to the final 4.

congrats on another championship by the way. always like it when the devils make me money.

Don't know what story you are looking at. They edit it with asterisks but you would have to be a moron to read the article and not know what he said.

Too lazy to find it again, but the one I read on espn never made any reference to what was actually said...

They didn't have it up this morning and just glossed over it. That's probably the one you read. They now have an article based solely on this topic.

It has not been mentioned on SportsCenter except as part of their scroll, although the Wisconsin press conference is coming up where Kaminsky will certainly be asked about it. We all know the condemnation and outrage that would be directed at Kaminsky if he had said the same thing.... ESPN covered the SAE chant at Oklahoma extensively even though it didn't involve athletes. They eat this kind of stuff up. If Kaminsky had said this about Harrison they would be calling for him to be suspended for the championship game. The double standard is impossible to miss.

I did not say sports center I said front page of website which there is an article. And yes if a white guy says the n word referencing a black guy it's a problem. If a black guy uses the same word about a white guy not so much. I don't get all of the faux outrage that exists. It's really not too hard to understand.

My point would be that if black guys are using the n-word about white guys now, then it seems like the n-word has been bastardized to take on a completely different connotation from an epithet... So maybe it should mean "brutha" for everyone to say it and just not a problem at all - even for drunk frat boys on a bus???? Either that, or there is a double standard - at least in regard to how the media covers these things.

Everyone is comparing this UK team to the 2007 New England Patriots. I think that is a bad comparison. The Pats at least made it to the championship game.

Yes, Vegas always wants Duke to win.

dude your a tool. the ncaa committee sets the brackets. duke will win the championship this year because they are a good team, but also they were in the easiest bracket. much like 2010 when everybody bet on the cats. duke got an easy draw. I guess your just upset the Gators didn't make it to the tourney this year. duke claims another title book it.

So Vegas is getting to the officials before the NCAA can? No doubt the NCAA and CBS would've preferred a Duke vs. UK matchup. But Vegas preferred anyone but UK?

Based on your posts, your struggle with basic grammar and the middle school "Gators" smack, it's crystal clear who the tool is.
