Old Timer I agree with the fact that the players should know better and in my opinion they do. Has it ever crossed your mind that the coaches (1st base coach in particular) is making the call when he should not? In my opinion it's on the coach, it's happened too many times and you continue to blame the players Benito is a very smart base runner and usually does not get picked off. Forsyth's inexperience should not reflect on players, they only do what they are told

I just think a base runner should know the situation and should have learned that at 15. This is the SEC. Now, you still work on it at practice and they do work on it before every game in the outfield prior to the start.

Ok perhaps Forsythe should catch up on some coaches training/meeting while the players are out practicing their drills because this IS the SEC therefore coaching also need to be up to par
