It's not about the innings at all.

Pitching 6-9 innings in a weekend is perfectly fine

Pitching so much one day requires rest before the next outings. 4inn is way over that limit. Check out the studies about what is causing all these TJ surgery.

Not worth risking the kids health unless of course CDS knows the kid isn't going to play pro ball.

Too bad this will be the highlight of our season. Vandy will forget about this next week and go on the the NCAA while we are looking for a new coach. I do not think we will make it to Hoover with what is left on the schedule.

agreed my friend. Should've, would've and could've all season but I give the guys credit for fighting back and not quitting.

Possibly what CDS said about this team is true, they don't quit. We always look at it as it was meant during a game, maybe we can battle back the tail end of the season and do some damage. Basically the season is one long game.....

Don Yates on VandyMania says the umpires had all to do with the win. I haven't watched the game yet, but am I safe to assume he is just being the whiner he normally is?

I'm sure the kids couldn't give a **** what you think. As long as there are games to be played we hope for the best. Let's worry about the end of the season after the season.

There were some calls, both ways...we should have another run...the VJax safe at first was a close call, but the HBP was probably a bad call that should have gone their way...
