This pretty much sums it up. I want us to recruit one-and-done caliber talent but I don't want UT to focus on those guys when 3-4 year guys are available.

3-4 year players who make all-conference teams change a program much more than one-and-done all-americans that move on to the NBA before they are physically and mentally prepared.

Cousins is a dominant player who will end up with a great NBA career. However, I wouldn't trade Chism for 4 years of Cousins, even though he is much more talented than Chism.

I would def take the veteran player. Those are the guys you win championships with. Cousins if far from a polished player. Chism may not be the low post banger that cousins is, but he has a far more complete game. That game comes from staying for a few years and developing.

Cousins won two conference titles this year. In his 4th season, chism won none...

Cousins did it with much better talent around him that chism. If UT could have added Wall, Bledsoe, and Patterson they would national champs right now. Cousins is a talent, but Chism had more to do with UT's run than Cousins had to do with UK's.

Wrong again. Chism did win a conference title. Conference titles mean nothing to KY any way--no use in even making reference to them.
