Manning worked out for Harbaugh and took physical this week, according to Chris Mortensen.

If the 49ers are interested in Peyton, he has to atleast take a look. That team is loaded on D and he would only make that offense better.

The 49ers would be the best choice, but the late reporting of interest sounds more like agent business to me. I mean, how long can he wait?

Monday?

Again, I keep reading sports analysts and am not positive who said what but one of the people on ESPN said he won't decide today.

Things change non-stop though so who knows. I figured we'd know today but after the weekend would have to be the absolute latest. If Peyton wants to win, teams need to know what options they have to build around him. The longer he waits, the fewer options they have. Players are being signed everyday.

that would be one heck of a pickup. Would give him the D he always wanted

As a Titans fan, I agree. This is the best place to go if he wants to win. Doesn't have a lot of weapons on offense but they were 13-3 with a bad QB. The Broncos won with a weird system and only had to go 8-8 to make the playoffs. Sure they won a playoff game but I think that speaks volumes about where they are at. Giants won the Super bowl with a bad record but it was a tall hill to climb. The 49ers give him the best chance to win and the weather is just the icing on the cake. I don't trust him going from Tennessee/South to dome to Denver. Ironic if he gets cut for Luck and then plays for Luck's former coach.

49ers are the best fit now that they're a known suitor. Hopefully people are right and just doing it for show to sign Alex Smith cheaper.

If he wants to win next year, he goes to SF. And we all know, that's what it's all about at this point for PM. But, you never know in the NFL.

It's worth mentioning that both A. Smith and PM have the same agent in Tom Condon. It's not difficult to imagine that Condon is using this unique situation to help bolster deals for both players.

Did not know that. I could imagine them playing games too to get more money. Maybe that would mean Peyton chooses the Titans. They can play the money game but it looks bad if you play the hometown fans.

Timing shouldn't be an issue because he worked out for SF before Denver.

If they were simply using this to get leverage on Smith, wouldn't they have let it leak before now?

So do you think they are a real contender here or not?

Logically it makes sense with the team that SF has per their dominant defense and run game. PM has not visited SF which you would imagine if he were serious about SF you would think he'd visit their facilities, etc...

But, perhaps SF jumped in late and PM has not had a chance to visit. Who knows? But, if I'm PM and SF is showing interest I have to investigate it given the potential. SF with PM would be an instant NFC favorite for the Super Bowl on paper, at least.

Good points. Yea they would be the favorite right away.

If they just jumped in they proved they could meet secretly so maybe a visit this weekend to the teams facility is possible.

Drunk Titans fan.

I doubt he's going to SF as well, but we shall see.

Drunk because I have a very informed thought process on this? Lmmfao@ you!!!

Peyton will command around 20 million per year. Remind me of San Frans cap space.....

He has also alluded to nor wanting to be in the NFC, or Play his brother. San Fran is both.

There is also the little "can Manning get along with Harbough, or will Harbough allow Peyton to have free reigns over that offense. There is a long response to your little lame attempt at an insult to me.

Please... Indulge me, and give me your reasons why you thin San Fran is a realistic landing spot for Peyton. Or are you just a drunk poster trying to pick a fight?

Once again, PLEASE indulge me with your great wisdom. Im on the edge of my seat waiting.

Also, do you think it's the Broncos? If so why?

Don't try to insult me without having a decent retort to my post. "a drunk Titan fan".

Post what you think, not a one sentence crock of crap trying to call me out. You must be drunk. See I can do that too
