Also, do you think it's the Broncos? If so why?

Don't try to insult me without having a decent retort to my post. "a drunk Titan fan".

Post what you think, not a one sentence crock of crap trying to call me out. You must be drunk. See I can do that too

Niners have $23.5M of cap space.

Don't take things so seriously. More drunkenesses for u.

Im not drinking, but apparently you are since that seems to be all that's on your little mind. Titans, and Broncos have more cap space... So again 49ers aren't in this. Watch and see.

Peyton will not be a 20 million dollar cap hit regardless of where he goes, so the Niners are fine there. That said, I seriously doubt he ends up in Frisco

So, you think he back loads his deal?

It's the Titans Emain, trust me.

It's going to be around 40-60 million guaranteed, and around 20 million per year. 49ers can't hang with that.

It will be backloaded no matter where he goes. He apparently contacted the Niners, so there is at least something to this. I think it will ultimately come down to Adams simply giving him the same contract that he would get anywhere else, with some kind of team control post-retirement. That said, if he wants to win this year he will have a hard time turning down SF, and they can definitely "hang" with the monetary part of the offer we are talking about here

Agreed. 49ers are the best fit. But, they cannot hang when it comes down to it money wise.

Ok later, im going to bed.

So the Titans have roughly 3 mil more than the 49ers and the niners can't keep up with what the Titans can pay, so no way he goes there, but the Broncos have about 14 mil more than the Titans but he doesn't go there either? So is more cap space a factor or not, please try to be consistent instead of trying to spin the argument to fit the outcome you want.

And yes, the Niners can pay him what everyone else can, if you are claiming otherwise you are just wrong. They just likely won't give him standing in the franchise post-retirement

I really dont know why everyone seems to think this will be about the money either.

Maybe for the first time ever we agree on something. Peyton has enough money that his grandchildren won't have to work. Like you said, the niners have enough to match everyone else. If winning is his #1 priority the niners are where he goes, then maybe Denver. If appeasing a group of fans is his priority then he goes to the Titans.

I think his familiarity with Tennessee, the standing that he has in the state, and the opportunity to pursue a post-playing football career will be what lands him in Nashville.

But you are right, it will be hard for him to turn down a contract from San Fran because he would immediately turn them into a Super Bowl favorite.

That's assuming he wants a post playing football career, does anyone know that's what he wants to do?

Peyton to Davis and Moss, with that running game a D would be pretty nasty.

It very well may not end up that way, but it sure looks like it. Really wish it wasn't. You would think he would want the team signing him would have a bit of cap room left to work with.
