#5 LSU vs #8 FSU ESPN 7:30 PM

Let’s hope FLA is still a dumpster fire two weeks from now. I think our front seven will drive the FLA offense to drinkin’. Might even make them quit.
Hit them early and hit them hard. Don’t do like we did against SC last year and let them hang with us. Shut down any hope and shut down the crowd and don’t take our foot off the gas

Bottom line is our secondary is awful. We couldn't cover a dog turd with a shovel. THAT is a problem. We can't get any pressure on the qb which exploits the CB problem.

We are phucked"

"secondary is ****. looked like midgets vs beasts

that said, doesnt really matter does it? win in the SEC and all problems go away"
Lololol

This seems to be becoming a thing for LSU... get stomped early in the season and get it out of the way.
Which is against reason. You'd think those bayou kids, growing up in and practicing in the greatest heat and humidity, would have their greatest on-field advantage early in the season.

Maybe that old Bourbon Street T-shirt has it right: "It's not the heat; it's the stupidity."

Week One of college football doesn't provide answers, it informs our questions.

Now we have things to look for in next week's games.

This was a satisfying game to me. Didn’t use to dislike LSU until last year when their fans still claimed to be better than us after the drubbing they got at home, that they still deserved a CFP spot over UT (well, until A&M blasted them in the final regular season game).

All off-season they acted so superior to us (with no reason to do so), and lauded Daniels as a far better QB to Milton.

Preseason polls ranked them above us, undeservedly so. Pundits talked of only “UGA, Bama, or LSU” winning the SEC.

I am thoroughly pleased FSU destroyed them, and I hope they drop about 4-5 more this season.

I actually expect FSU to make the playoffs this season. They should be favourites in most of their games, including vs Clemson. They are actually deserving of their high preseason ranking
They were definitely one of the best looking teams. That defensive front is very good and they have so many weapons on offense. Not sure who would have beat them last night.

It was an impressive game 1 performance

The meltdown on tigerdroppings is epic. Basically saying that there’s a problem and CBK doesn’t know how to fix it. They are saying the players don’t like CBK and it’s easy to see why.

Very telling in that fourth quarter last night how isolated Kelly was on that sideline. No one within 10 feet of him. He wasn’t talking to anyone and no one was talking to him

A change of coaches for LSU did them some good
They have moved the ND Charisma from ND to LSU
Always Pretenders but not real Contenders.
It's the coach. Just proved he can do at LSU what he did at ND.
Got lucky last year they will lose 4 games this year.

Wonder what kind of buyout terms LSU will eventually have to suffer

I mean at least you can argue we smoked LSU with out starters so it’s technically unproven against this years team.

But we spanked Clemson with basically the exact same team we are playing with this year and for some reason they are ranked ahead????
Klubnick's parents are once again living a Home Alone/Planes. Trains, and Automobiles sequel.
Clemson is ranked ahead because apparently all of our opponents have far more compelling storylines.

I think UNC will be a sneaky team. Certainly not a team you can sleep on/has the potential to upset some teams. That said, SC’s o-line is garbage. If the DL we saw yesterday is going to be the norm going forward, they are toast.
SEC This Morning had an interesting factoid. SC’s O Line only had two starters back. When their experienced tackle went out early, the rotation was relying on transfers from Yale, Western Illinois and UNC-Charlotte. Didn’t work against UNC and it dang sure won’t cut it against good SEC teams. Georgia and UT in September. Rattler may not make it past Georgia.

I sort of thought that folks were going a little overboard about LSU. They looked good in the first half but looked like they quit in the second half. FSU just wore them out. Kudos to Norvell. Looks like he has them back on track.
