50 Killed 200+ Injured in Vegas Music Festival Shooting

Not exactly clear what is happening in the video, but it certainly resembles a guy crouching and drawing a gun.

There’s supposedly another video taken a few feet back from that one and it shows the guy from a different angle. It’s said that he clearly doesn’t have a gun. It wouldn’t make sense for one shooter to have cover and for another to be in the line of fire unless they were morons.

It doesn't help the people who are stuck in that cycle that their clearest path out of that situation has been blocked by an infusion of cheap, illegal labor. Yet somehow, they've been conned into thinking that they much unite into some sort of dark-skinned brotherhood to combat the oppressor.

The labor is just filling a market need. In TN, you have to clear over 30k to make more than welfare benefits. You are leaving money on the table if you take a minimum wage job. If there weren't illegal immigrants doing menial jobs, they wouldn't be getting done at minimum wage. Welfare has created a permanent "leisure class".

Since there are cameras in almost every single public area of a casino, I’d start there. Actually I’m surprised that none of the news media has complained about these videos not being released.

I wonder if something happened that didn’t go as planned and that’s why he shot himself so early (or someone else shot him). It makes zero sense that he would give up that quickly, especially when he had cameras set up in the hallway and could see the police weren’t there.

The police got there pretty quick, after he shot the security guard they waited for an entry team.

Something else that just crossed my mind after hearing all of this ban bump stock talk. If I was planning on going on a kill crazy rampage and I had a clean criminal record, why wouldn't I just get the BATF tax stamp and buy a fully automatic or just modify an off the shelf semi-auto and make it fully automatic? Why would I settle for a freaking bump stock?

What, is he concerned about breaking Federal law by modifying a bunch of semi-automatics?

None of this story makes any sense.

Way less hassle and cost to buy 10 bump stocks as opposed to 10 NFA guns. Plus that many MG purchases probably gets you on a list, and you had to notify your CLEO.

But they didn’t engage him. It’s been pointed out he had close range weapons like shotguns and pistols as well, so he was expecting to have a fire fight.

If you are on a suicide mission or on a kill crazy rampage, especially with the finances he had, why is he worried about costs?

And again, he doesn't need a tax stamp, he can just modify a semi-auto to a fully automatic relatively easily.

I can’t say I understand the waiting for another team part. At the very least they could have fired through the door and kept him occupied. Of course we don’t know the particulars. From the timeline of events he appears to have stopped shooting around the time they arrived.

I would imagine you need some milling or machining experience to alter a semi lower to accept FA parts. Then you’d have to source the parts and function test until you got it right. Or you could get 80% of the way there with a bump stock.

Doesn't make sense for this to be a mystery 5 days later. Las Vegas is the most surveillanced place on the planet. The moment you enter McCarron, you have cameras on you. The hallways of that hotel most definitely have cameras, as well.

Yep. They most likely have video of anyone else that was with him and know who those people might be at this point. Either they’re surveiling those additional people to figure out how big this is, or they’re covering it up.

Is the transfer of cash to gambling chips to cash to real estate a common money laundering move? Did this guy really make all this money as a gambler?

This is making its way around the internet.

Twitter

I can't see the Twitter for what ever reason as it is linked, but is it the video that stopped right as you see a guy that looks like he's crouching down and drawing a pistol?

Edited because auto correct sucks.

Edit again: start at about 2:18 on this video and let it play. You'll see a better picture of them. It looks like they're wearing the hi reflective gear of either security or police officers and they crouch when the bullets start flying. So, IMO, they're police or security.

You can't even fly with more than $10,000 or make a cash purchase over that amount without drawing attention and getting hassled. How they hell can this guy and the former Wasserman -Schultz computer guy get away with moving that kind of money out of the country to their significant othets?

Or, you could just go through the process with the BATF tax stamp. It wasn't like this guy was in a hurry if he has allegedly been scheming this for several months.

I guess what I'm saying is a bump stock wouldn't be a vriminal's first or most prefered option. They would attempt to get to true fully-auto.

Again, this shouldn't be that hard to figure out. The parking garages have cameras, also.

No business has more cameras than casinos.

I believe the killer was radicalized at some point. The Philippines are filled with muslim terrorists.

I also believe someone else was with the killer at the hotel at some point.

It would be the only option if the goal is to avoid additional attention from the ATF.

Libs and gun grabbers would really crap their pants if they knew what a machinist could do with a stock ar15, only being in the trade for going on 3 years now I’m fully capable of machining anything.

It takes skill, time and money.
(While I would never illegally modify anything )
It would be very difficult to do so and not get caught.

Where would you test your mods without anyone knowing?

If you suppress it you would have to purchase certain tools that would raise a flag for the feds and have them knocking down your door quickly.

I remember a story where a man modified some rifles and a friend took one to a range and it accidentally went full auto or 3rd burst and the rangemasters called the cops and the man who modified it was found to be making and selling illegal rifles. And some customers didn’t know it, the select fire switch had to moved to a certain angle for it fire.

He went the easier low key route.
