7th ranked class on Rivals

Yes, keeping Copeland, Brown and Loften is going to be huge...

We get Stone, and have a great shot with Rogers. Robinson would be nice, but I think we have a our work cut out for us there.

As every team/school does every year.

So, we have 22 now, and if we take 27, which is our max, if I'm correct....remaining 5 are.

1. James Stone
2. Da'Rick Rogers
3. Dave Clark
4. Markeith Ambles (I can dream)
5. John Propst

IF this happened...I think we're looking at a #3-4 class. And there's a very good chance of at least 4 of those 5.

This would be nice, but I think Ambles is a long shot, but who knows, we could be a dark horse.

Florida has locked in #1. Possibly the best class in a LONG time. Texas is pretty much set at #2, ESPECIALLY if they land Jeffcoat and Hicks. After that, it's any mans game.

We'll take D. Glass.

If the reports are right, Crump makes 23. I think that makes Propst expendable.....and we're not getting Ambles.

If Alabama loses Allen to Clemson, then that sets up Auburn to take the number 3 spot IF they can land a few more four stars. I see us only getting to number three if we land both Ambles and Rogers. We would need 2 5 stars to get there, Auburn has three, but we have more 4*'s then they do, so it would jolt us ahead I think. Markeith is really the hinge on this class as far as how high we can go. We will end up top 5 I think if we get Da'Rick. But if Markeith picks us too, it could be as high as #3.

Whoa, yeah, my bad. I thought Glass was already committed. So disregard all my stuff. Honestly, I have no clue. I just know we'll finish out strong. To be #7 after going through what we've gone through the past 2 weeks is amazing. I never thought it possible.

UT could also lose Loften and maybe one other before it's all said and done to make room for others

I think we get Stone, Clark, Robinson, Rogers, Glass... If we could land Ambles that would really give us a great chance at a top 3 class...

That's true. I really want to keep Loften, but if he wants to play for X, well, he can just go right ahead. I also really want to keep Copeland. The only player I wish we could get rid of is Matt Simms. But too late for that. But I'm actually very happy with this class. I feel like we've done a lot if we manage to sign these guys. If we can fill out the class, I think that Dooley will have exceeded expectations majorly.

We hired a lawyer. He went to school where they taught him how to persuade people and make a case.

And he does this with a southern accent.

And I've heard recruits say he has a plan. That was what Hammy said sold him on CDD. I think he's laying out what is gonna happen for these kids in a very convincing way.

If he closes the deal better than Saban, Meyer, and Miles (?) we could use our last 5 spots to create a very nice class.

He's done good. Now its about closing the deal. I like our chances.

+1. This guy is good for Tennessee football. There's just something about him. Anybody else get that?

Just don't forget that teams like USC are salivating at the 5*s committing on the last day. We may be ahead of them now, but once all the top players commit to the top schools, it'll probably bump us down to around 11-12...

I agree, but for one at least one day, we are able to look down on Kiff and his dream job

I don't think anyone will jump us, but I do look for Florida State to make a Signing Day push into the top 10. If we steal Rogers from UGA, then they are definitely out of the top 10, and if Florida picks up Corey Lemonier, Christian Jones, Calvin Smith, and maybe another 4 star or two, they're in the top ten. I personally think that it will look like:

1. Florida (they have it locked down)
2. Texas (but only if they land Jeffcoat and Hicks, if they don't I can see them being jumped)
3. Auburn (pains me to say it, but Alabama will lose their spot to Auburn if they lose Keenan Allen)
4. Tennessee (assuming we land Rogers and Ambles which is highly unlikely, but if we do, we should end up about here, maybe as high as 3)
5. Alabama

That's all I'm willing to predict. But if Bama keeps Allen, and if we don't get Ambles and Rogers, then there's no way that happens.

But I think it's a pretty safe bet to say Florida and Texas the number 1 and 2
