None of which is Obama's fault nor would it be different under any other POTUS, but keep trying.

I believe we were assured by Pres O that it would not get this high. He sure thought it would be different

I don't care where the fault lies. I get tired of seeing politicians dodge blame. How about using some time in office to make some improvements. It would be refreshing to see someone work for the credit, and make some positive change. OR just neglect the problem and throw the skunk across the aisle.

*after re-reading this, I realize I basically just defined "politics". I will leave it anyway. Im not sure if my point is getting across. In a nutshell, less slow, somber, doom & gloom speeches. Maybe a little more hope and reason for people to actually believe politicians on either side are doing a damn thing for this country.

he promised us last that that hundred of thousands of jobs would be created a month due to the union bailout money. the fact is that companies do not want to hire people due to the fear of obama's policies. your boy failed volatile.

We were, but sh*t happens. It was a pipe dream and slogan to get elected. Every candidate says what people want to hear. You can't even act like it would be different had McCain been elected.

i'm not saying that it would be any different if mccain was president. he would not have impliment obamacare and i don't think there would have been more government regulation and less uncertainty in our economy.

didn't say it would have been but I doubt JM would have spent hundreds of billions of dollars (trillions by the ends) while assuring the American people their money would keep the number much lower.

He either lied or was clueless- which one you going with?

Usually I would tend to agree with this more than not. However, what has contributed to the economic slowdown? Inflation is a huge driver with commodity prices and oil and gas shooting through the roof year over year.

President Obama's administration and the Democrats in Congress over the past few years are directly responsible for this. How? Weak dollar policy. All commodities and oil are purchased in dollars. A weaker dollar means more dollars needed to purchase, which drives up prices. People are spending more at the pump and stores and have less to spend in the economy.

Bad news all around. Geitner's answer is to raise taxes by $1 trillion to match with $2 trillion in spending cuts for debt ceiling hike. Simply unbelievable.

Having the academic hardware he claims, and being the POTUS, I doubt it is the latter.

I disagree with that. I think the President is economically illiterate. As a law student, with an undergraduate degree in finance, you wouldn't believe the stupidity regarding basic business sense that runs abound in law schools. I literally think he knows absolutely nothing about fundamental economics and fundamental business.

he know what he's doing. his goal is to tranfer wealth for social justice.

whether he's ignorant or knows what he's doing, both are bad for the country.

Ditto. He's a politician. His job is to win elections. The people behind the scenes are the ones that really make the decisions.

yet he's still the one with his signature on the line so it's on him. Anyone without a job who votes for him should be deported

I agree. He knows nothing about the economy and he is a huge wealth distributer...coupled together, it's a disaster. He also has people advising him that are dye in the wool keynsian economists. Also not a good factor to add into the equation.

I absolutely agree, I was trying to be correct in theory but show sarcasm towards reality.

Who will they vote for then? No one has a proven method that will work. It's all on the employers. The next Republican/Democrat will step up in line and promise policies that will strengthen the economy, but will it actually work? Don't know.

they might vote for the guy who doesn't dump trillions on his buddies. just finding someone who doesn't waste trillions would be a big step up from obama/bush.

tell me you will stop wasting my money and I will consider voting for you
