Nah...it's just the first thing I thought of after the "security level above the POTUS" reference.

Honestly the only 9/11 conspiracy I think is even worth considering is that people that thought they could exploit such an event could have downplayed the possibility at the intel level and let it play out. Not saying that happened but it's something that can be accepted as "possible".

Why I find it so easy to pretty much dismiss the rest is mostly laid out way back in #365.

I have always had doubts about Shanksville myself. I could definitaly understand not wanting the public to know we had to shoot down our own airline giving the trauma the American public was already going through that day.

That's honestly the first I read that, and it's dead on with numerous people I talked to, but they all said, they seen the jet fighter.but I also heard the people that seen it all, the farmer and the guy from the garage, are not around anymore, can't be found, or their families, like they vanished without a trace..just what I've heard from people who know both witnesses

Of all the conspiracies out there, this one would be the most logical (not the shoot down, but the fact it happened) as well as your logic behind it being covered up.

Congrats DD, you just did what Pacer has been unable to do through this entire thread. Articulate a reasonable explanation on something that might have happened.

Exactly. And look, people are open and receptive to his information. Like I said earlier in this thread, this is by far the most believeable "conspiracy".

First off, let's not forget a conspiracy doesn't have to be an elaborate government operation. Just a handful of people conspiring. So most time people here "conspiracy theory" and jump straight to the conclusion of that the person believes in all radical things commonly tied by outsiders to "conspiracy theorists". I was fairly young when it happened so I never second guessed it growing up. But when I started hearing of these theories the biggest thing that stands out me is that the most restricted air space in the world was infiltrated by a large, not so nimble aircraft and was never intercepted and struck it's target. That was the first thing that really got me looking in to this. Now, I've seen all the stuff about the towers, that's something I'm just not so sure about. I think the floors that were hit were intentionally hit, so if the plan was to bring the towers down why would it matter where they it? I don't think they expected them to fall. As for building 7, a lot of quirky things happened there too. Safes in the basement were completely emptied, theories that lots of important and some incriminating things were destroyed there. How would it have caught fire from the events that day? I think that one is way more fishy than the towers. Like I said earlier, flight 93 I believe was shot down as they were not able to make their target before our military responded. I believe saying it's impossible to cover up is actually kind of a fallible argument. We are conducting covert ops daily, it's not like it's impossible for the a few people to hold the secret. There are three "conspiracies" in which I believe we do not know the full story. JFK, 9/11, and Sandy Hook. That doesn't mean I believe all these far out, Alex jones type stories, I just don't believe we are getting the truth of what actually transpired

And there are still 28 pages missing from the commission report. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that a deal was made between al-qadi and Cheney and he may have been the only U.S. Official to truly know of what was coming. Then some people close to them were told to put money and put options against certain companies and buy certain stocks but without knowledge of what was going on. They were just told it was a sure thing. How the guy that owned all three buildings was able to do what he did with the insurance, that's one thing that might be pure luck but it sure looks fishy too.

And to volfan, you asked about the SEC report earlier, it stated no one with prior knowledge of a terrorist attack made inside trades. So given the above scenario it's plausible they were able to skirt that by honestly having no idea what was coming.


But then when you look into what Marsh was up to and their actions the days leading up to the event, I think more than just Cheney knew exactly what was coming. But these are the discussions "truthers" need to be having to ever gain any traction. Say the hell with the buildings and how they fell, you're never gonna make progress arguing those points. Find people involved and a way to prove prior knowledge, and get definitive confirmation. Once you do that people might say ,ok now, lets talk about those buildings.

Edit to clarify on first paragraph: I know the commission report is obviously not going to have any mention of Cheney or if he had involvement, but it might hold a lot of information about the Saudi's, how they got their info, and show they were way more involved than what we were lead to believe

The Commission was underfunded. No one is even attempting to debunk that. What does it prove?

You might as well say "9/11 happened on September 11th. Can't debunk that!!!"

I can't confirm who was in charge of Norad on 911 I'll give you that. However, how does a hijacked civilian airliner fly around for 45 minutes unimpeded and fly into the most heavily defended and guarded building in the world?

Answer....stand down.
