What’s our case for being ahead of them? Those teams have looked pretty dang good too. You could swap any of the teams ranked #5-#9 and I wouldn’t argue with it. There’s not enough data right now to argue our position any higher even if you think it should be.
Tennessee, Washington, and Penn State all finished 11-2 last year. Tennessee and Penn State both won NY6 bowls. All three had terrific seasons and returned a lot of key pieces.Penn state hasn’t beaten a good team in years, Washington doesn’t play anyone, you’re right there is not enough data, but I believe Tennessee beats both, and since these polls are mostly based on last year why should they be ranked ahead of ut? And I will agree polls this early mean absolutely nothing.
They will be back lol. USC’s away games may be closer than most of their in conference games lolNo.
No sir.
Now what we do is, we keep climbing.
We ain't "holding on to" squat.
Go Vols!
p.s. Most likely upset of the coming week: #6 USCw could lose to Stanford in a "last time I see you in conference, so here, F U," send-off.
He was. He kept hitting Duke players right in the hands so their hands have to be tired today. Those guys LOVE Klubnik. The way they talked about him during and after the Orange Bowl you'd have thought he beat us by 3 TDs. The same thing last night, Duke's offense all night was hitting on all cylinders and Clemson was sputtering all night and you'd have thought Klubnik was wearing the Blue Devils out.
