Because I hate Vanderbilt and we shouldn't have to rely on Vanderbilt to help us week 1 of the season.

It's a sad day when Tennessee needs Vanderbilt to help them before the first game of the season has even been played.

Some people just hate USCjr more.

I'm just referring to the idea that some are cheering for Vanderbilt just because they believe South Carolina losing helps Tennessee in the long run.

In a lot of cases I probably would cheer for the underdog believing it helps Tennessee but I'm not cheering for Vanderbilt week one. I'll cheer for them if and when we see the standings down the road and we need them. Until then, I hope Vanderbilt doesn't win a single game.

Looks like Vandy is up to the same dirty play they were accused of last year. Lineman cut a SC player in the first quarter and that knee to the shoulder blade on the qb was intentional. Gotta watch out for this when the Vols play them.
