#9 South Carolina @ Vanderbilt

No offense b/c I respect u as a poster, but it's not Vandy we hate..It's Franklin and their fans. I won't even go any further.

I despise Vandy and despise Franklin.

I am also mature enough and objective enough to know they aren't a walkover as they used to be. Their record may not end up great, but it's a fight now and wasn't for many years.

Turning that in Vandy love or not admitting they are a different program is narrowminded and naive. 5 years ago, this game would have been over by halftime and many of us wouldn't be watching.

How many delay of games does SC have with their back up QB? Seems like a lot.

I'm a little surprised that SC is so dependent on two players and ranked so high. No one else is showing up for them on offense.

Vandy has played us close when we were good

Nothing new

Thinking that they have changed in one season because they went to a bowl and their coach talks out his ass is a tiny bit premature

so they are the same program and an automatic win as in 19 of the 20 years prior.

Got it. You are in denial too. It's all good. I despise Vandy, but acting like their program hasn't changed since Steve Martin left is off base.

No, SC is too one dimensional and inferior teams can show up for games like that.

Vandy is slightly better than they were, but they are leaps and bounds behind where you guys think they are.

I'm real worried about a team that's had a single winning season since the mid-80s.

So if people still think Vanderbilt isn't any good, they're automatically in denial because they don't agree with your view?

That's no different than calling someone a hater just because they don't like what you like. Not everybody has to agree and it doesn't mean they're wrong because they don't.

You don't know how Vanderbilt will finish. They look like a .500 team to me. They could easily finish something like 4-8.

tell me where I said Vandy is, outside of a better program than they were before. They just went to a bowl. They have the ball with a chance to beat SC as a double digit dog, and they about to sign their highes rated recruiting class ever, after setting that record last year.

Well, we beat them in OT last year. I guess you weren't worried on 4th down when DR had a 1 handed catch to win the game.

I know what you are worried about. Hits. I've seen you whine about 10 times in regards to hits this game. It's football. You actually sound like a whiny Vandy fan complaining that someone hits too hard.

Iowa State beat Oklahoma State last year.

Kentucky beat LSU when LSU won the championship.

It's the first game of the season and so far South Carolina hasn't even looked like a top 25 team.

Tennessee should have beaten Bama, LSU and North Carolina the past few years with some of their worst teams ever. Staying close or upsetting a team doesn't automatically mean you're destined for greatness. Both teams have looked average imo.

Not what I said. Don't go drama queen on me. There are enough on here. I don't know that Vandy is good or not, but to say they aren't a better program now than they ever have been is denial, or just ignorance of the circumstances and Vandy football history.
